An ultrasonic measuring device including: an ultrasonic transducer device; an emission unit for emitting an ultrasonic beam; a reception unit for receiving an ultrasonic echo reflected by a test subject; and a processing unit for processing reception, wherein the processing unit identifies a transfer function with respect to the ultrasonic transducer device and the test subject based on a first reception signal corresponding to an ultrasonic beam radiated to a first area in the test subject, a second reception signal corresponding to an ultrasonic beam radiated to a second area in the test subject, and a third reception signal corresponding to an ultrasonic beam radiated to a third area located between the first area and the second area in the test subject, and performs ultrasonic image generation processing including filter processing using a deconvolution filter including the transfer function performed on the reception signals.

An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a transmitting section for driving an ultrasonic probe that sends out an ultrasonic transmitted wave toward a vital tissue; a receiving section for amplifying an ultrasonic reflected wave, produced by getting the ultrasonic transmitted wave reflected by the vital tissue and then received at the ultrasonic probe, to generate a received signal; a reference point shift measuring section for measuring the magnitude of shift of a reference point that has been set on the received signal; a received signal adjusting section for adjusting the position of the received signal in a distance direction according to the magnitude of shift of the reference point; and a shape variation calculating section for determining the magnitudes of positional displacements at multiple measuring points that have been set in the vital tissue by the received signal adjusted.

An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the present invention includes: a transmitting sectionthat drives an ultrasonic probe to transmit an ultrasonic wave toward a measuring region of a subject including an arterial vascular wall; a receiving sectionthat receives a reflected wave, produced by getting the ultrasonic wave reflected by the subject, at the ultrasonic probe to generate a received signal; a movement information deriving sectionfor deriving information about at least the axial movement of the arterial vascular wall based on the received signal; and a boundary locating sectionfor locating at least one of the blood flow-intima boundary, the media-adventitia boundary and the adventitia-body's connective tissue boundary of the arterial vascular wall in the measuring region based on the movement information.

An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmitting section that generates a drive signal to drive a probe in order to transmit an ultrasonic wave toward a subject to be deformed periodically under stress. A receiving section receives an echo, produced when the ultrasonic wave is reflected from the subject, at the probe to generate a received echo signal. A computing section determines a thickness change waveform, representing a variation in distance between two arbitrary measuring points on the subject, based on the received echo signal. A reference waveform generating section outputs a reference waveform. The apparatus obtains a subject's internal information by comparing the thickness change waveform and the reference waveform to each other.
