A touch panel device includes a first conductive film having first and second regions, at least a part of the first conductive film between the first and the second regions being removed, a second conductive film laminated on the first conductive film across a gap, first and second terminals that output signals, a first electrode electrically connected to the first terminal, and a second electrode facing the first electrode across the first region. A switch may electrically connect the first conductive film to the second conductive film, in the second region.

A touch panel device includes a first conductive film having first and second regions, at least a part of the first conductive film between the first and the second regions being removed, a second conductive film laminated on the first conductive film across a gap, first and second terminals that output signals, a first electrode electrically connected to the first terminal, a second electrode facing the first electrode across the first region, a first resistor provided on the first conductive film in the second region and having a pair of electrodes, the pair of electrodes facing each other across a first resistance region in the first conductive film, one of the electrodes being electrically connected to the second electrode, the other of the electrodes being electrically connected to the second terminal, and a first switch electrically connecting the first conductive film to the second conductive film, in the second region.

A touch panel comprises: a first electrode substrate having a first conductive film; a second electrode substrate having a decorative portion facing the first conductive film; and a case configured to contain the first electrode substrate, wherein the first electrode substrate has a larger area than the second electrode substrate, and wherein the case is configured to cover an outer peripheral portion of the first electrode substrate outside the second electrode substrate, and not to cover the second electrode substrate.

Touch panel

A touchscreen includes a first substrate, a second substrate, an adhesive, a first wiring layer, a second wiring layer, a through hole, and an electrically conductive adhesive. The first substrate includes a first transparent conductive film formed at a surface of the first substrate. The second substrate includes a second transparent conductive film formed at a surface of the second substrate. The adhesive adheres the first and second substrates to each other. The first wiring layer is formed on the surface of the first substrate. The second wiring layer is formed on the surface of the second substrate. The through hole pierces through the second substrate. The electrically conductive adhesive is provided in the through hole, and connects the first wiring layer and the second wiring layer.

Touchscreen and method of manufacturing touchscreen

A touch panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate disposed facing the first substrate, a first conductive layer formed on one surface of the first substrate, a second conductive layer formed on a surface of the second substrate that faces the first substrate, an insulating layer disposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer, and a decorative layer disposed between the first conductive layer and the insulating layer. The decorative layer is electrically conductive and is disposed along an outer periphery of the first substrate. The insulating layer has a through-hole that extends from the decorative layer to the second conductive layer.

A touch panel including: a substrate that includes an operation surface and a transparent conductive film formed opposite to the operation surface; a wiring pattern that is disposed below the transparent conductive film; and a decorative layer that is disposed between the transparent conductive film and the wiring pattern, and is composed of a chromatic color conductive ink which conducts the transparent conductive film and the wiring pattern.

A touch panel device includes: a detection unit that detects coordinates of a pressed point on an input surface of a touch panel; and a correction unit that corrects the coordinates detected by the detection unit to obtain corrected coordinates, wherein the correction unit approximates, when a predetermined number of reference points arranged on the input surface are pressed, curves passing through coordinates of the reference points by second order or higher order polynomial equations, specifies, when an arbitrary point on the input surface is pressed, a region including coordinates of the arbitrary point from regions obtained by dividing the input surface by the curves, calculates distances from the coordinates of the arbitrary point to curves that define the specified region among the curves with the second order or higher order polynomial equations, and calculates the corrected coordinates based on a location of the specified region and the distances.

A touch panel includes a first substrate having a first conductive film formed on a surface thereof, a second substrate disposed to face the first substrate on a same side thereof as the first conductive film, the second substrate having a second conductive film formed on a surface thereof facing toward the first substrate, a decorative layer formed on the first conductive film on a surface thereof facing toward the second substrate, the decorative layer being formed along a perimeter of the first substrate, a first wire formed on the decorative layer on a surface thereof facing toward the second substrate, a first insulating layer laminated to the first wire, a second wire formed on the second conductive film on a surface thereof facing toward the first substrate, and a second insulating layer laminated to the second wire.
