An elevator information communication system in which communication cables are reduced in number with a simple configuration to make it possible to efficiently perform at a low cost can be obtained. The elevator information communication system includes a notification device arranged in the elevator system, an information input device for forming notification data to the notification device to input the notification data, and an elevator control device connected to the notification device to output a notification command and having a relay unit connected to the information input device to relay the notification data input from the information input device to the notification device.

Elevator information communication system

An elevator information communication system in which communication cables are reduced in number with a simple configuration to make efficient communication possible at a low cost. The elevator information communication system includes a notification device arranged in the elevator system, an information input device for forming notification data for the notification device to receive, and an elevator control device connected to the notification device to output a notification command and having a relay unit connected to the information input device to relay the notification data from the information input device to the notification device.

In a program of running direction determination steps wherein the presence of a call signal, which is based on activation of floor call buttons provided in a cage of an elevator of hall buttons disposed at halls of respective floors, is repeatedly monitored so as to determine the running direction of the cage of the elevator. This program includes the cage running direction determination step of reversing the running direction of the cage with preference over any other call signal when a floor call in the rear of the cage has been registered anew while the cage is at rest at any of the halls.

Method of operating elevator

A call registration apparatus for an elevator system includes a call registration lamp and a car call button disposed in an elevator car and connected by a common signal line to a CPU. When the call button is pressed a first time, the CPU registers a call and turns on the call registration lamp. When the elevator car reaches a floor, the CPU makes the call registration lamp flicker. If the call button is pressed while the lamp is flickering, the CPU performs a door opening or door closing operation.

Call registration apparatus in an elevator system

An apparatus for controlling an elevator comprising control data setting means for setting control data indicative of an environment where the elevator is installed and for generating a control signal representative thereof; cage position detecting means for detecting position of a cage of the elevator to generate a cage position signal representative thereof; cage position converter means connected to receive the control signal and the cage position signal for performing a predetermined logical operation to generate a converted cage position signal corresponding to the environment; position indicator data setting means for setting a position indicator data representing the position of the cage in response to the converted cage position signal generated by the cage position converter means; and position indicator signal producing means for producing a position indicator signal on the basis of the converted cage position signal and the position indicator data. The cage position converter element performs a predetermined logical operation in accordance with the position indicator data and the cage position signal indicative of a floor level of zero detected by the cage position detecting element.

Apparatus for controlling elevator

In a case where peculiar control information which differs depending upon buildings is revised, a first memory for storing the revised information and a second memory for storing the original information before the revision are disposed, and addresses and contents are correspondingly stored in both the memories, whereupon the stored contents of both the memories are displayed on a display unit at the respectively corresponding addresses. Thus, the presence or absence of an alteration error in the case of the revision of the control information can be reliably checked.
