A switch which can prevent detraction of insulation of fixed contacts and facilitate design, manufacturing and assembling works and can be miniaturized is disclosed. In a power window switch, an earth fixed contactis provided at the center and a manual-up fixed contact, an automatic-up fixed contact, a manual-down fixed contact, and an automatic-down fixed contact are arranged in the right-and-left direction are provided as fixed contact on a board along which movable contacts provided to a movable piece are slid by reciprocating motion of the movable piece in the right-and-left direction. The manual-up/down fixed contacts are nearer to the earth fixed contact than the automatic-up/down fixed contacts. The earth fixed contact is designed so that side portions of the earth fixed contact which are near to the manual-up/down fixed contacts are concaved with respect to side portions near to the automatic-up/down fixed contacts.

Switch

In an electric-circuit-containing box including an upper case having a side provided with a hole and a lower case having a side provided with a projection to be fitted in the hole, moisture is prevented from entering the box from the hole of the upper case by a capillary phenomenon. A recess separate from an inside surface of an upper case is provided around a projection of a side of a lower case. Thus, a specified interval is ensured between the periphery of the projection of the side of the lower case and the hole of the upper case. Accordingly, even if moisture attached to an upper part of the upper case flows to the vicinity of the holealong an outside surface of the upper case, there does not occur a state that the moisture passes through between both the cases from the hole by the capillary phenomenon and enters inner spaces of both the cases and in which a board and electronic parts are contained.

Electric-circuit-containing box

A switching apparatus includes a case, an operation shaft whose one end outwardly projects from inside of the case and which is provided at its central portion with a flange, a support member which supports the flange such that the operation shaft can rock and rotate, an operation knob mounted on one end of the operation shaft, a first contact which is switched when the operation knob is pushed to move the operation shaft, a second contact which is switched when the operation knob is rotated to rotate the operation shaft, and a third contact which is switched when the operation knob is rocked to rock the operation shaft. The support member comprises a first support member which supports the flange from the operation knob in a state where the operation shaft penetrates the first support member, and a second support member which is disposed inside of the first support member and which supports the flange from the opposite side from the operation knob in a state where the operation shaft penetrates the second support member. The first contact is disposed in the vicinity of the operation shaft on the opposite side from the operation knob of the support member adjacent to the second support member, and the first contact is switched by the second support member which follows the operation shaft and moves when the operation knob is pushed.

Switching apparatus

A switching apparatus includes a case, an operation shaft whose one end outwardly projects from inside of the case and which is provided at its central portion with a flange, a support member which supports the flange such that the operation shaft can rock and rotate, an operation knob mounted on one end of the operation shaft, a first contact which is switched when the operation knob is pushed to move the operation shaft and the support member is moved, a second contact which is switched when the operation knob is rotated to rotate the operation shaft, a third contact which is switched when the operation knob is rocked to rock the operation shaft, and a substrate respectively having the first, second and third contacts.

A switching device capable of preventing entrance of water from outside of a case through a space below an operation knob into the case is disclosed. The switching device includes: a switch; a case within which the switch is accommodated; a hollow cylinder which is provided on the upper surface of the caseand open to above and below to communicate with the inside of the case; an operation knob provided to cover the upper opening of the cylinder such that the operation knob can swing; and an operation bar which extends through the lower opening of the cylinder into the case to transmit the motion of the operation knob to the switch. A projection is provided on the upper surface of the case in the vicinity of the cylinder. The lower end of the operation knob is opposed to the upper end of the projection with a small clearance interposed therebetween when the operation knob is not shifted.

Switching device

There is provided a control device for driving a movable member such as a power window of a vehicle under control, in which the action of the movable member (including the manual operation) at an action velocity corresponding to the intention of the user is achieved by operating only a operating knob for issuing a command relating to the action of the movable member. The control device includes a detecting unit which can generate an output value varying in accordance with the action of the operating knob, and a control unit for determining the operating velocity of the operating knob based on the output value, deciding the action velocity according to the determined operating velocity, and driving the motor under control so that the movable member moves at the decided action velocity.
