The controller defines multiple first image areas and multiple second image areas in the display panel, causes the first image areas to be at first intervals in a first direction, causes displaying of a first image viewable by a first eye of a user in the first image areas and a second image viewable by a second eye of the user in the second image areas, defines, in the barrier panel, multiple first transmissive areas transmissive to the image light at a first transmissivity and multiple second transmissive areas transmissive to the image light at a second transmissivity, causes the first transmissive areas to be at second intervals in the first direction, and performs an irregular process at third intervals in the first direction.

A three-dimensional display apparatus comprises a display panel (display element) and a parallax barrier (optical element). The display panel displays a left-eye image and a right-eye image respectively in first subpixels and second subpixels. The parallax barrier transmits at least part of the left-eye image toward the left eye, and at least part of the right-eye image toward the right eye. A first certain number of the first subpixels and of the second subpixels are each successively arranged in each column. A region in which the first subpixels are arranged and a region in which the second subpixels are arranged are displaced from each other by a second certain number between two adjacent columns. The first certain number is greater than the second certain number and is not a multiple of the second certain number.

A sports goggle includes a goggle main body () on which information processing means () is mounted. The goggle main body () has an eye piece portion () on which information display means () is mounted. Information transmission means of transmission/reception of information on sports to/from outside can be mounted on the goggle main body (). Furthermore, the information processing means () and the information display means () may be made as a unitary block. There is provided a sports goggle through which a user can check the displayed information even while performing a sport, can get information judged to be appropriate at appropriate moment in a comparatively short time, can pay attention to the display unit without lowering the sport ability, and can get sophisticated instructions from an instructor or a coach.

An abnormality detection support device, suitable for a case where rescue operations are made under situations that visibility is disturbed by smoke due to fire, includes an infrared camera, a display which, at least when the infrared camera is in use, comes to be positioned in front of a user's eyes and reproduces an image taken by the infrared camera thereon and a face protector or a helmet, on which the infrared camera and the display are provided, and the infrared camera and the display are arranged to be within an outline of the user's head in a front view when the device is put on the user. The present invention can, therefore, provide the abnormality detection support device which enables an operator to work with both hands available while directly watching the infrared image even under a circumstance that smoke or the like due to occurrence of fire disturbs the field of vision of the operator, and has excellent usability.
