This rotating electrical machine includes: a rotor formed from stacked steel sheets and fixed to a rotary shaft; a plurality of magnets arranged on the outer circumference of the rotor along the circumferential direction; and the same number of holders as the magnets, the holders being arranged between the magnets. The holder is press-fitted and fixed into the rotor by a press-fit portion extending in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. One circumferential-direction side of the magnet is positioned by the rotor, and another side is pressed in the circumferential direction by the holder. Both circumferential-direction ends of the magnet are pressed in the radial direction by the holders. Such a configuration provides a rotating electrical machine that enables a magnet to be accurately fixed to a rotor through simple work, at low cost.

A rotary electric machine includes a stator, a rotor core provided on an inner circumferential side of the stator and fixed to an output shaft of a rotor, a plurality of magnets arranged in a circumferential direction and fixed to an outer circumferential portion of the rotor core, and a magnet holder fixing the magnets to the outer circumferential portion of the rotor core, the magnet holder includes a base portion through which the output shaft is inserted, and an arm portion connected to the base portion, and the base portion includes an inner circumferential portion having an annular shape, an outer circumferential beam which has an annular shape and is provided on an outer circumferential side of the inner circumferential portion and to which the arm portion is connected, and a connection beam connecting the inner circumferential portion and the outer circumferential beam.

A base portion of a magnet holder attached to a rotor core of a rotor has a press-fit pin press-fitted into a press-fit hole provided at an end surface of the rotor core. An arm portion of the magnet holder has a holder rib which protrudes inward in the radial direction of an output shaft and of which one end surface in the circumferential direction serves as a pressing surface, and a come-off prevention protrusion inserted into an insertion groove provided at an outer circumferential surface of the rotor core. Magnets are located between the rotor core and the magnet holders, one end surface in the circumferential direction of each magnet contacts with the pressing surface, and another end surface contacts with a core rib protruding from the rotor core.

In an electric driving apparatus, a first rotational angle detecting sensor that generates a signal that corresponds to rotation of a shaft is disposed between a controlling apparatus and a motor. A housing accommodates the motor, the controlling apparatus, and the first rotational angle detecting sensor together. A second rotational angle detecting sensor that generates a signal that corresponds to rotation of the shaft is disposed at a position that is further away from the motor than the controlling apparatus in the axial direction of the shaft, and is disposed outside the housing. The first rotational angle detecting sensor is a magnetic detecting element sensor that includes: a magnet rotating body that includes a magnet, and that rotates together with the shaft; and a magnetic detecting element that detects magnetism from the magnet. The second rotational angle detecting sensor is a resolver.

Electric driving apparatus

According to the present invention, provided is an IPM rotor of the present invention, which includes a plurality of core sheets, having hole portions configured to accommodate magnets and being laminated on one another, and the magnets are inserted in the hole portions. The IPM rotor includes a first core sheet having a spring plate portion provided to the hole portion, and a second core sheet having a recessed portion provided the hole portion. A protruding portion is provided to the hole portion of at least one of the plurality of the laminated core sheets. The protruding portion is provided to at least one of the hole portion of the first core sheet, the hole portion of the second core sheet, or a hole portion of a third core sheet to be further arranged.

A (6&#x2212;1)-th higher harmonic wave and a (6&#x2212;1)-th higher harmonic wave (p represents a positive integer) when an electrical angle of 360&#xb0; is set as a fundamental wave in the no-load induced voltage waveform are made substantially coincident with each other in amplitude and phase.

Permanent-magnetic type rotary electric machine

A motor for an electric power steering apparatus can ensure an appropriate preload to an outer race of a rolling element bearing by adjusting the thickness of a spacer without replacement of a wave washer for a change in an axial dimension between a bottom surface of a bearing box and the bearing. The motor includes a rotor, a casing that receives the rotor and has the bearing box in which the bearing rotatably supporting a shaft of the rotor is received, an annular wave washer that is arranged between the bottom surface of the bearing box and the bearing, and applies a preload to the outer race of the bearing, and an annular spacer that is arranged between the bottom surface of the bearing box and the bearing so as to be in abutment with the wave washer for adjusting the preload applied to the outer race.
