A medical treatment endoscope includes: an insertion portion which has a lumen formed along a longitudinal axis of the insertion portion and is configured to be inserted into a body cavity, a lateral opening portion which extends in a lateral surface of the insertion portion, from a distal end surface of the insertion portion to a proximal end side of the insertion portion, an elastic member which is provided in an inner wall of the lumen at a position separated from an edge of a proximal end of the insertion portion in a direction toward a distal end side of the insertion portion, and a tubular arm which includes a bendable bending part provided at a distal end side of the tubular arm.

Medical treatment endoscope with a positioning mechanism

Forward and backward movement of a wire guide member in an axial direction of the wire guide member is restricted, by the wire guide member abuts on a distal end portion holding member and a proximal end portion holding member. The wire guide member is held by an intermediate holding member, the distal end portion holding member, and the proximal end portion holding member to allow insertion and forward and backward movement in the intermediate holding member, the distal end portion holding member, and the proximal end portion holding member. The wire guide member has elasticity.

A treatment endoscope includes that a body cavity insertion portion which includes a main body distal hard portion, and a main body curving portion provided to a proximal side of the main body distal hard portion, one or more treatment arm/arms projecting to a distal side from the main body distal hard portion, each of the treatment arm/arms including a curving mechanism, an operation portion provided to the proximal side of the body cavity insertion portion, and an observation section configured to image a field of view in a body cavity, the observation section including an imaging section provided within the main body distal hard portion. The treatment endoscope includes that an operation portion attaching/detaching mechanism configured to removably attach the operation portion to the body cavity insertion portion, and an observation section attaching/detaching mechanism configured to removably attach the observation section to the body cavity insertion portion.

Each of the first hinge portions includes a first central planar portion, and first both-sides planar portion, and each of second hinge portions includes a second central planar portion, and second both-sides planar portion which is arranged on the same plane as the first both-sides planar portion. At least one of each first hinge portion and each second hinge portion includes/include an axial step portion which is provided between the first central planar portion and the first both-sides planar portion and/or between the second central planar portion and the second both-sides planar portion over the entire length of the nodal ring in the longitudinal direction and allows/allow the first central planar portion to be arranged to an outer peripheral side than the second central planar portion by a distance corresponding to a wall thickness of the nodal ring.

Provided is a medical treatment endoscope including: an endoscope main body which includes an elongated insertion portion having a lumen and an image capturing mechanism disposed in a distal end of the insertion portion; an arm which is able to be inserted into or extracted from the lumen and has a treatment tool lumen for allowing an endoscope treatment tool to be inserted therethrough; and a positioning mechanism which positions a part of the arm inserted through the lumen with respect to the endoscope main body.

A flexible endoscope part including an operation member pulling operated to curve a flexible part, a plurality of joint rings connected substantially coaxially to be pivot-able in relation to each other, each the joint rings have an opening part and an engagement part, and an operation-member receiving unit which is inserted into the opening part from outside to inside in the radial direction of the joint ring, is formed by performing bending process on an elastic wire material, is protruded into inside of the joint ring, wherein the operation-member insertion part forms a coil shape which extends in an insertion direction of the operation member.

Flexible endoscope part

An endoscope main body constituting an endoscope in a state in which an elongated detachable observation optical system is attached to the endoscope main body, and in a proximal end of an insertion section of the endoscope main body, a branch member is disposed. The branch member is provided so that a first extended section and a second extended section are branched from each other and thereby first and second operating sections are separately arranged. Furthermore, the branch member has an opening as an inlet which guides an imaging module in a distal end of the observation optical system to a hard portion of the insertion section.

A method of manufacturing an endoscopic insertion portion with high manufacturing efficiency is provided. The endoscopic insertion portion includes a plurality of bending parts provided side by side with each other, a protruding portion provided in one of each two adjacent ones of the bending parts, and a receiving portion provided in the other of each two adjacent ones of the bending parts and into which the protruding portion is inserted rotatably. The method includes forming, in at least one plate material, a first bending part preparation portion for the formation of the one bending part and a second bending part preparation portion for the formation of the other bending part, connecting the first bending part preparation portion and the second bending part preparation portion by press processing, and forming the first and second bending part preparation portion into a cylindrical shape by press processing.
