A W/O emulsion composition having excellent storage stability under temperature cycle conditions is provided. A W/O emulsion composition including the following components (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E): (A) a glycerol monofatty acid ester having 12 to 26 carbon atoms; (B) a higher alcohol having 10 to 22 carbon atoms; (C) a ceramide; (D) one or more selected from the group consisting of sphingosine, a salt thereof and an ionic surfactant; and (E) a nonionic surfactant including the following (e1) and (e2): (e1) one or more selected from the group consisting of a crosslinked polyether-modified silicone and a crosslinked polyglycerol-modified silicone and (e2) one or more selected from the group consisting of a polyether-modified silicone, a polyglycerol-modified silicone and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester.

W/O emulsion composition

The present invention provides a water-in-oil emulsion composition having a high water occlusive of a coating film and having good skin protective feeling and glossiness. The water-in-oil emulsion composition is provided containing the following components (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E): (A) 1% by mass or more and 15% by mass or less of a lipophilic surfactant having an HLB of 2-6; (B) 0.15% by mass or more and 8% by mass or less of a dextrin fatty acid ester having 8-22 carbon atoms in the fatty acid moiety; (C) 1% by mass or more and 20% by mass or less of one or more oily components selected from a dimer acid ester, a fatty acid cholesterol ester having 16-22 carbon atoms, a fatty acid phytosterol ester having 16-22 carbon atoms, and an N-acyl amino acid ester; (D) a hydrocarbon oil that is liquid at 25&#xb0; C.; and (E) water.

Water-in-oil emulsion composition

A heat generating device includes a holder and a heat generating member that is enclosed in the holder and that contains an oxidizable metal, a reaction accelerator, an electrolyte, and water. The heat generating member contains a transdermally-absorbable medicament and a solvent for dissolving the transdermally-absorbable medicament. It is preferable that the solvent is at least one type of polyol selected from polyols that are in their liquid state at 25&#xb0; C. It is also preferable that the heat generating member further contains at least one type of solvent composed of an oily agent that is in its liquid state at 25&#xb0; C. It is also preferable that the heat generating member further contains a surfactant. It is also preferable that the polyol is polyethylene glycol.
