A non-woven fabric that absorbs only a small amount of volatile low molecular weight compound, and that has good texture when used as a non-woven fabric that makes contact with human skin. This thermal bond non-woven fabric containing cyclic olefin resin includes at least: fibers (A) containing at least 50 mass % of a cyclic olefin resin (A1) having a glass transition temperature Tg&#xb0; C.; and fibers (B) containing at least 10 mass % of either a cyclic olefin resin (B1) having a glass transition temperature Tg&#xb0; C., or a crystalline thermoplastic resin (B2) having a melting point Mp&#xb0; C.; the fibers (A) and the fibers (B) being heat-spliced together; wherein Tg&#x3e;Tgor Tg&#x3e;Mp, and either the difference between the glass transition temperature Tg&#xb0; C. and the glass transition temperature TgB1&#xb0; C. or the difference between the glass transition temperature Tg&#xb0; C. and the melting point Mp&#xb0; C. exceeds 20&#xb0; C.

Thermal bond non-woven fabric containing cyclic olefin resin

A flat yarn of a high strength and a high modulus of elasticity, being excellent in solvent resistance, thermal stability and resistance to bending fatigue is provided. The flat yarn comprises polyoxymethylene copolymer containing 0.5 to 10 moles of specified oxyalkylene units per 100 moles of oxymethylene units in the polymer chain principally comprising repeating oxymethylene units and having a melt index at 190&#xb0; C. with load of 2160 g of 0.3 to 20 g/10 min.

Polyoxymethylene fiber comprising polyoxymethylene copolymer having a half-crystallization time of at least 30 sec, when the polyoxymethylene copolymer is cooled from a melted state at 200&deg; C. to 150&deg; C. at a cooling speed of 80&deg; C./min and maintained constantly at the temperature of 150&deg; C.

Branched polyacetal resin composition

To provide a polyacetal resin composition which is highly rigid and has excellent surface hardness, sliding characteristics, etc. That is, a polyacetal resin composition, produced by blending 100 parts by weight of a polyacetal resin (A) with 0.01-100 part(s) by weight of a branched polyacetal copolymer (B) which is obtained by copolymerization of 100 parts by weight of trioxane (a), 0.01-10 part(s) by weight of a monofunctional glycidyl compound (b) and 0-20 part(s) by weight of a cyclic ether compound (c) which is copolymerizable with trioxane.

Polyacetal resin composition

To provide polyacetal which has excellent shock resistance, rigidity and creep resistance as essential properties of the polymer and makes a high flowability and an excellent molding property upon molding possible by improving the thermal stability. In the manufacture of a polyacetal copolymer by a copolymerization of 100 parts by weight of trioxane (a) with 0.05-20 parts by weight of a cyclic ether compound (b) which is copolymerizable with trioxane and 0.001-10 parts by weight of a mono-functional glycidyl compound (c), the mono-functional glycidyl compound (c) having a chlorine content of not more than 0.3% by weight is used.

Polyacetal copolymer and method for producing the same

To provide a resin material in which various properties of a polyacetal resin such as excellent appearance, slidability and thermal stability are maintained and a rigidity is improved as well. That is, a polyacetal copolymer which is prepared by a copolymerization of 100 parts by weight of trioxane (A), 0.0005 to 2 parts by weight of the component (B), which is a compound (B-1) having at least three glycidyl groups in the molecule or a compound (B-2) having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, and 0 to 20 parts by weight of a cyclic ether compound (C) copolymerizable with trioxane, and which has a total terminal group amount of 15 to 150 mmol/kg, when (B) is (B-2).
