Provided is a seal ring configured so that stable lubrication performance can be provided across a wide range of rotation speed. A seal ring for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft and a housing includes inclined grooves formed at a sliding surface so as to be arranged in a circumferential direction, the inclined grooves being open on an outer diameter side of the seal ring to generate a drawing pressure. The seal ring further includes supply grooves being open on a sealed fluid side of the seal ring and extending in a radially outward direction toward inner diameter sides of the inclined grooves.

Seal ring

Provided is a seal ring configured so that stable lubrication performance can be provided across a wide range of rotation speed. A seal ring for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft and a housing includes multiple static pressure grooves provided at a sliding surface of the seal ring and arranged in a circumferential direction, the static pressure grooves being opened on a sealed fluid side and closed on an outer diameter side, a circumferential length of each of the static pressure grooves being shorter than a radial length of each of the static pressure grooves.

In an exemplary embodiment, a seal device () that seals between a housing () and a rotation shaft () passing through the housing () includes: a floating ring () arranged with a gap h with respect to the rotation shaft (), a seal portion () formed by bringing one end face of the floating ring () into contact with the housing (), and a space portion j provided between the floating ring () and the housing (), and the floating ring () includes bias means that contactlessly biases the floating ring () to the seal portion via the space portion j. The seal device in which the floating ring follows movement of the rotation shaft is capable of exerting a sealing operation so that vibration of the rotation shaft can be reduced.

Seal device

Provided is a seal ring configured so that a fluid film can be formed between sliding surfaces across a wide range of rotation speed and configured with high lubricity. A seal ring for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft and a housing includes, dynamic pressure grooves formed at a sliding surface of the seal ring and having positive pressure generators and negative pressure generators, and static pressure supply paths formed at the sliding surface of the seal ring to extend from an inner diameter side to an outer diameter side and to open on a sealed fluid side. Each of the positive pressure generators, each of the negative pressure generators, and each of the static pressure supply paths are arranged in description order in a circumferential direction of the sliding surface.

A sealing device includes a floating ring in a space between the outer circumference of a rotating shaft and the inner circumference of a housing, and a multi-layered cylindrical body including a plurality of elastically deformable cylindrical thin plates layered on top of each other provided between an outer peripheral surface of the floating ring and an inner peripheral surface of the housing, so as to impart a radial restoring force against the eccentricity of the rotating shaft to restore it to its center position, and a tangential damping force to reduce the whirling of the rotating shaft.

In an exemplary embodiment, a seal devicethat seals between a housingand a rotation shaftpassing through the housingincludes a floating ringarranged with a gap h with respect to the rotation shaft, wherein the floating ringincludes at least one supporting meansthat supports in the circumferential direction. In the seal device, the floating ring follows movement of the rotation shaft even upon running for a long time, a clearance between the rotation shaft and the seal ring can be properly held, and the sealing operation by the floating ring and the vibration damping function can be exerted, and the seal device is easily assembled.

In a pair of sliding parts having sliding faces S that slide with respect to each other, at least one of the sliding faces S has a one-side peripheral edge () and an other-side peripheral edge () and includes: fluid introduction grooves () each of which has one end communicating with the other-side peripheral edge (), dynamic pressure generation grooves () each of which has one end communicating with the other-side peripheral edge () and the other end being surrounded by a land portion, and a release groove () provided in the land portion, the release groove () communicating with the fluid introduction grooves (). With the sliding parts, not only a liquid such as oil but also an oil mist serving as a mixture of oil and air can be sealed as a sealed fluid, and generation of oil mist itself can be reduced.

Sliding part

In an embodiments, in a sealing face of at least one slide part of a pair of slide parts, a dynamic pressure generation grooveis provided so as to be separated not to communicate with a sealed fluid side and a leakage side by land portions on both sealing faces, between an endon the leakage side of the dynamic pressure generation grooveand the leakage side, a fluid introduction groovewhich communicates the dynamic pressure generation grooveand the leakage side is provided, and the cross-sectional area of the fluid introduction grooveis set smaller than the cross-sectional area of the dynamic pressure generation groove. The sealing faces are subjected to fluid lubrication and low friction in a steady operation, and leakage of the sealed fluid and entrance of dust into the sealing faces are suppressed.

Slide component

In an embodiment, in a slide component, dynamic pressure generation groovesare provided on a sealing face of at least one of a pair of slide partsso as to be isolated with no communication from the sealed fluid side and the leakage side by land portions R of both the sealing faces, and a plurality of independently-formed minute recessed sectionsis provided at positions on the sealing face IS between the dynamic pressure generation groovesand the leakage side, the positions being separated in the radial direction from the dynamic pressure generation grooves. The slide component can make the sealing faces fluid-lubricant and low frictional and prevent leakage of a sealed fluid and incoming of dust to the sealing faces at the time of normal operation.

A seal part having a base material, a porous coating layer formed by flame spraying a hard material on a seal surface of the base material, and a lubricating film containing one or more types of materials selected from silver, gold, and tin and a gold-cobalt alloy on the porous coating layer. The seal part of the present invention has superior durability and sealability and further a long life and high reliability even when used in a high temperature (for example 400&#xb0; C. or more, in particular 400 to 600&#xb0; C.) and high pressure (for example 2 MPa or more) environment.

Seal part

Primary objective of the present invention is to provide a seal device wherein the seal surfaces of the device are always brought into close contact against the side walls of the mounting slot regardless of fluid conditions. The seal device has two seal portions located to both sides of a bight shaped elastic portion which has a 'U'-shaped cross section wherein the respective seal portions have a first side portion and a second side portion. The second side portions of the seal portions abut against each other in a symmetric manner in order to form a 'W'-shaped seal body element. The end portions of the both second side portions of the seal body element are joined and seal surfaces are defined on the outer side surfaces of the both first side portions.
