A vehicular display device that includes a transmissive first liquid crystal display unit having a plurality of display elements; a transmissive second liquid crystal display unit superposed on the first liquid crystal display unit and having a plurality of display elements; and a controller for controlling the display elements of the first second liquid crystal display units, so as to display information required by a driver of the vehicle. The information displayed by the display elements includes at least first information indicative of a status of the vehicle, second information for confirming an operating setting of a vehicle-mounted device on the vehicle, and third information for indication to the driver. The controller controls the display elements to selectively display the information by selectively energizing and de-energizing the display elements, and further controls the display elements to simultaneously display the information in a non-overlapping manner.

In an automobile instrument panel structure, an upper meter provided in an upper front part of an instrument panel main body is disposed so as to correspond to an upper side of an upper half of a steering wheel, and a lower meter provided in a lower rear part of the instrument panel main body is disposed so as to correspond to a lower side of the upper half of the steering wheel. It is thus possible to reliably view the upper meter and the lower meter without being obstructed by the steering wheel. Further, since an upper edge of a panel in which the upper meter is disposed has a shape substantially conforming to the upper half of the steering wheel, there is no disagreeable sensation even when the upper meter, which has conventionally been disposed in a laterally central part of the instrument panel main body, is disposed in front of the driver. Furthermore, since the panel can be attached to and detached from the instrument panel main body, maintenance can easily be carried out for the upper meter and the lower meter by removing the panel.

A vehicle ready for a card key and a radio communication system for a vehicle which utilizes a card key wherein transmission and reception functions are incorporated in a card key to be loaded onto a vehicle, thereby allowing communication between vehicles. Further, a microphone, a speaker and a transmitter-receiver are provided on a helmet for a driver, and the card key communicates also with the transmitter-receiver on the helmet. A method of loading a two-wheeled vehicle onto a vehicle, e.g., within a trunk space of the accommodating vehicle. The required trunk space can be minimized without relying upon folding of the two-wheeled vehicle. A seat post of the two-wheeled vehicle loaded onto and rearward of a rearmost seat of a four-wheeled vehicle is pulled up forward around a predetermined shaft of pivotal motion. A seat of the two-wheeled vehicle functions integrally as a backrest of a rear seat of the four-wheeled vehicle and a seat back of the two-wheeled vehicle integrally functions as a headrest of the seat of the four-wheeled vehicle.
