A cleaning apparatus includes a fluid discharge portion discharging fluid to a cleaning object, a gas discharge portion jetting gas to the cleaning object, a fluid tank, a fluid pump supplying the fluid via a fluid passage, a gas pump supplying gas via a gas passage, a control unit, a housing at which a part of the fluid passage and a part of the gas passage are provided, and a valve element switchable between a closed position at which the gas passage is blocked and an open position at which the gas passage is opened, the valve element including a first surface receiving a fluid pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the closed position and including a second surface receiving a gas pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the open position in a state where the valve element is closed.

Cleaning apparatus

A tilting mechanism is provided with a movable column member for pivotally supporting a steering column to be swung about a swinging center provided at a front part of a vehicle body, and a movable bracket holding it. A lift-up mechanism is provided with a fixing bracket fixed to the vehicle body, and a link member with one end thereof being supported rotatably on the movable bracket, and the other one end thereof being disposed to be engaged with and removed from the fixing bracket. A lift-up biasing portion (spring member) biases the movable bracket in a direction to be lifted up from the fixing bracket. A lift-up manipulating lever selectively provides a hold state for engaging the link member with the fixing bracket to hold the movable bracket at an initial position or a lift-up position, and a release state for releasing its engagement.

Steering apparatus for a vehicle

A steering apparatus for a vehicle, adjusting a position of a steering wheel in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, includes a main tube supported by the vehicle body and having a tubular shape, the main tube including an opening portion being closed in an axial direction of the main tube and extending in the axial direction, a telescopic tube supported by the main tube to be slidable within the main tube, a connecting member firmly attached to the telescopic tube to be movable within the opening portion along the axial direction of the main tube, a drive member connected to the connecting member, and a drive source driving the drive member to move the connecting member in the axial direction.

Steering apparatus for vehicle

An energy absorbing steering column includes a first cylindrical member for accommodating a steering shaft of a vehicle and a second cylindrical member for accommodating the first cylindrical member and normally supporting the first cylindrical member in a predetermined position to allow the first cylindrical member to axially move relative to the second cylindrical member upon a predetermined or greater load applied to the steering shaft. The first cylindrical member includes first and second enlarged diameter portions, and the second cylindrical member includes first and second supporting portions. An elastic bush is provided between the first enlarged diameter portion and the first supporting portion for applying elastic force for supporting the steering shaft to restrict an axial movement of the first cylindrical member relative to the second cylindrical member.

Energy absorbing steering column

A steering device comprises a steering shaft to which a steering wheel is attached, a steering column for housing and supporting the steering shaft so as to be rotatable, a tilt unit for tilting the steering column and the steering shaft, a main bracket fixed to a vehicle side bracket and a pressure applying member provided between the main bracket and the steering column for applying a pressure in one direction to the steering column.

Steering device

An energy absorbing steering column includes a first cylindrical member for rotatably supporting a steering shaft of a vehicle, the first cylindrical member including a first press-fit portion formed on an outer surface thereof, a second cylindrical member for normally supporting the first cylindrical member at a predetermined position, the second cylindrical member including a first supporting portion formed on an inner surface thereof, and a metallic elastic bush provided between the first press-fit portion and the first supporting portion for applying elastic force in a radial direction to restrict an axial movement of the first cylindrical member relative to the second cylindrical member. The metallic elastic bush allows the axial movement of the first cylindrical member relative to the second cylindrical member when a load applied to the steering shaft is equal to or larger than a predetermined value.

A shock-absorption steering device includes a steering shaft connected to a steering wheel, a column housing for housing and supporting the steering shaft, the steering shaft and the column housing making a telescopic movement in order to absorb an impact energy, the column housing comprised of a first tube and a second tube, a first tube portion formed at the second tube fitted into the first tube, a second tube portion formed at the second tube so that a space is formed between the first tube and the second tube, a plate formed so as to extend in a longitudinal direction of the column housing, one end portion of the plate being bent and fixed to the second tube portion, the other end of the plate not being fixed; and the plate pulled into the space by a predetermined bending load according to a movement of the second tube.

Shock-absorption steering device

An energy absorbing steering apparatus for a vehicle includes a support member for supporting a steering column by detachably attaching the steering column to a vehicle body and an energy absorption apparatus for relatively movably supporting the steering column relative to the vehicle body in a frontward direction of the vehicle body. The energy absorbing steering apparatus is designed for absorbing impact energy applied to the steering column. The energy absorption apparatus includes a support pin supported by the steering column, a first absorption member provided along the support pin and having a connection portion provided at one end of the first absorption member and connected to the vehicle body for applying load to the support pin when the support pin moves relative to the support member, a second absorption member provided along the support pin and having a connection portion provided at one end of the second absorption member and connected to the vehicle body for applying load to the support pin when the support pin moves relative to the support member, a connection member connected to the connection portion of the first absorption member and the connection portion of the second absorption member for connecting the first absorption member and the second absorption member to the vehicle body, and a control apparatus for controlling the connection member to change the number of absorption members connected to the vehicle body corresponding to a drive condition.

Energy absorbing steering apparatus

A shock-absorption steering apparatus is provided which is capable of absorbing impact with a simple structure independently on a driving condition. A support pin for controlling the squeezing load to an energy absorption plate corresponding to its rotation is provided with a retainer. A slider is also provided, which can or cannot abut the retainer by moving up and down along with the drive of a motor. When the body weight of a driver is a reference weight or more, the rotation of the support pin is restricted by driving the motor so as to allow the slider to abut the retainer. When the body weight is less than the reference weight, the support pin is enabled to rotate by driving the motor so as to separate the slider from the retainer.
