A control device for a motorcycle includes a removal detecting unit for detecting the removal of an equipment, which is required during a public road running of the automotive vehicle, from the motorcycle, a determining unit for determining the presence of the motorcycle on a non-public road area in the event that a determining condition including a detection signal fed from the removal detecting unit is satisfied, and a drive control unit operable in response to a determining signal from the determining unit to set a non-public road mode appropriate to the non-public road running. The equipment referred to above is at least one of a back viewing mirror, a headlight, a tail lamp, a number plate, a license lamp, a warning horn, a side stand and turn indicators.

A theft prevention apparatus for a leisure vehicle including a portable device, a lock device, a lock operation stopper member, a pull-out operation stopper member, a lock operation restricting actuator, a pull-out operation restricting actuator, and a controller including a memory, a receiver, and a processing unit configured to control the lock operation restricting actuator to cause a lock operation stopper member to be moved from the position where a protruded operation and a retracted operation of a lock bar are disabled to the position where the protruded operation and the retracted operation are enabled and to control the pull-out operation restricting actuator to cause a pull-out operation stopper member to be moved from the position where a pull-out operation of the mechanical key is disabled to the position where the pull-out operation of the mechanical key is enabled, when the user identification codes match.

Theft prevention apparatus for leisure vehicle

An electronic key system for a leisure vehicle is provided. The electronic key system may include a portable device configured to transmit a user identification code, and an electronic key controller that is configured to receive the user identification code and to cause an electric power supply of the leisure vehicle to be turned on upon receiving the user identification code. The electric key controller may be configured to transmit a confirmation signal when acceleration of the leisure vehicle is higher than a predetermined acceleration value, and the portable device may be configured to, upon receiving the confirmation signal, transition from a sleep mode to an active mode to transmit a response signal to the electronic key controller. The electronic key controller may be configured to output a control signal to cause an alarm to be raised when no response signal is received.

Electronic key system for a leisure vehicle

A windscreen up-down device comprises a pair of right and left side rails disposed to extend in a forward direction and a rearward direction so as to be tilted downward in the forward direction, a center rail that is disposed between the side rails such that the center rail extends in the forward and rearward directions so as to be tilted downward in the forward direction, and a movable unit that is configured to be guided up and down along the side rails and the center rail, and is attached with a windscreen. The movable unit includes a pair of side slide members respectively guided along the side rails, a coupling member disposed to extend in a rightward direction and a leftward direction to couple the side slide members to each other, and a center slide member that is provided on the coupling member and is configured to be guided along the center rail. The side rails and the center rail have circular-arc shapes of substantially concentric circles as viewed from the side.

Windscreen up-down device and motorcycle equipped therewith

A fin tab device for a marine vessel driven by a propeller is provided with a fin-shaped main fin tab member and a fin-shaped sub-fin tab member, both tab members extending downwardly from a substantially planar fixing portion detachably and adjustably secured to the bottom face of a stern structure. The two tab members are in an in-line, spaced-apart, tandem relation, the sub-fin tab member projecting downwardly a shorter distance than the main fin tab member. The sub-fin tab member is at a positon between the tip circle of the propeller and the main fin tab member. Cavitation bubbles first collide with the sub-fin tab member, imparting impact force thereto, whereby the lower end portion thereof is broken while the main fin tab member is shielded and protected by the sub-fin tab member.

Fin tab device for marine vessels

This disclosure relates to a marine propulsion system including a double propeller. To obtain a forward thrust, the two propellers are driven in opposite directions while producing forward propulsion forces. To obtain a rearward thrust, only one propeller is driven in the direction to produce a rearward force. The two propellers are attached to coaxial inner and outer horizontal shafts. A single vertical shaft is coupled by bevel gears to the shafts, and movable clutches couple the driving force to the horizontal shafts.

Marine propelling apparatus

In a marine outboard engine unit driven by a four-stroke-cycle engine, the vertical crankshaft is aft of the cylinders and the camshaft and drives the camshaft via a sprocket-and-chain mechanism, the lower end of the camshaft being coupled to the extension drive shaft which is coupled to the propeller at the lower end of the lower unit, and the carburetor for each cylinder is at the forward part of the engine. By this arrangement, 'oil rise' of the lubricating oil in the engine is prevented when the boat hull, under way, assumes a bow-up attitude, and the speed-reduction ratio from crankshaft to propeller can be reduced, whereby a high-speed, high-power-output engine can be used.
