A water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic has an unprecedented property wherein, by coming into contact with perspiration or water, the color development and the color uniformity are improved over the conditions immediately after application. The water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic includes: (A) an organically modified clay mineral; (B) an oil phase thickener other than the (A) organically modified clay mineral; (C) a non-volatile liquid oil other than a silicone oil; (D) a silicone-based surfactant having an HLB of less than 8; and (E) a colorant; wherein a weight ratio defined by [(A)+(B)]/(C) is at least 0.04 and less than 0.68.

Water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic

To provide a low-viscosity water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic composition which is extremely excellent in UV protective enhancing effect (as the protective boosting effect of the UV absorption capability thereof) over a broad UV radiation region and has superior feeling in use (smooth feeling, dry feeling, and non-sticky feeling, etc.). A water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic composition comprising (a) from 0.01 to 10% by mass of a water-soluble polymer and (b) from 0.01 to 30% by mass of a UV absorbent, and having a viscosity of at most 10,000 mPa&#xb7;s (as measured with a B-type viscometer at 30&#xb0; C.), wherein the aqueous phase accounts for at most 45% by mass.

Water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic composition

The present invention provides a sunscreen cosmetic comprising, relative to the total amount of the sunscreen cosmetic, 10-90 wt % of agar microgel (wherein the agar content in the agar microgel is 0.4-1 wt %) and 0.1-5 wt % of a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent. It was necessary to blend in an organic ultraviolet absorbent and such to give sunscreen cosmetics a high SPF value. However, there was a problem in that it was hard for a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent in the formulation to achieve the expected SPF function. Also, sunscreen cosmetics are particularly desired to give a freshing texture upon use. In view of the fact that a high blend ratio of an oil soluble ultraviolet absorbent inhibits the freshing texture upon use, the object of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that achieves a high SPF value and a freshing texture upon use by mainly blending in a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent.
