A controller sets, as a satellite mask range, a range for which a work implement can become an obstacle when an antenna receives positioning signals from a plurality of positioning satellites on the basis of a position at which the antenna is installed, a movable range of the work implement, a posture of an upper swing structure, and an azimuth angle of the upper swing structure. The controller cancels the setting of the satellite mask range in a case where it has been determined, on the basis of satellite positioning condition data acquired from a receiver, that the setting of the satellite mask range leads to reduced precision of positioning computation by the receiver. In a case where the setting of the satellite mask range has been canceled, the receiver computes the position of the upper swing structure on the basis of the positioning signals transmitted from the plurality of positioning satellites.

A hydraulic excavator includes a receiver configured to calculate a position and an azimuth angle of an upper swing structure on the basis of satellite signals received by two GNSS antennae and a controller configured to calculate a distal end position of a bucket on the basis of the position and the azimuth angle of the upper swing structure calculated by the receiver. The controller sets, on the basis of installation positions of the two GNSS antennae, a movable range of a front work device and an inclination angle and an azimuth angle of the upper swing structure, a range within which the front work device possibly becomes an obstacle to reception of satellite signals by each of the two GNSS antennae as a mask range. The receiver is configured to calculate the position and the azimuth angle of the upper swing structure on the basis of the satellite signals transmitted from the remaining satellites other than the satellites positioned in the mask range.

A reversing assistance device suited for a mining dump truck measures a first distance to a first object, which exists at a first height comprising a trajectory of a rear wheel of the dump truck during reversing, and a second distance to a second object, which exists at a second height comprising a trajectory of a vessel during the reversing, for computing the position of the first object. If the distance between the position of the first object and a designated loading position designated by an operator of a loading machine is equal to or smaller than a threshold, the first object is determined to be an approachable object, a smaller one of the first distance and the second distance is determined as a target stop distance, and based on the target stop distance, a target stop position is computed.

Dump truck and reversing assistance device

A post-treatment device mounting frame on which an exhaust gas post-treatment device is mounted is constituted by a front mounting leg, a rear mounting leg, and a deck connecting the front and rear mounting legs to each other. A vertical leg part of the front mounting leg is mounted on a front vertical leg part mounting plate of a right front extension beam. A lateral leg part of the front mounting leg is mounted on a front lateral leg part mounting plate of a right front engine support bracket. A vertical leg part of the rear mounting leg is mounted on a rear vertical leg part mounting plate of a right rear extension beam. A lateral leg part of the rear mounting leg is mounted on a rear lateral leg part mounting plate of a right rear engine support bracket. Therefore, the post-treatment device mounting frame is firmly mounted in a state of four-point support on a revolving frame.

An automatically operated shovel, which includes a power shovel and an automatic operation controller for making the power shovel reproduce a series of taught operations ranging from digging to dumping, is characterized in that the automatic operation controller is provided with a positioning determinator for determining whether or not the power shovel has reached within a taught position range predetermined based on corresponding one of positioning accuracies set for individual taught positions of said power shovel, and, when the power shovel is determined to have reached within the predetermined taught position range, the automatic operation controller outputs a next taught position as a target position.

An automatically operated shovel has a shovel and an automatic operation controller arranged on the shovel to store by a teaching operation plural working positions of the shovel, which comprises at least a digging position, and also to cause by a reproduction operation the shovel to repeatedly perform a series of reproduction operations on the basis of the stored plural working positions. The automatic operation controller is provided with servo control means for outputting, as a servo control quantity, a sum of a compliance control quantity and a pressure control quantity. The stiffness gain and the pressure gain are settable at varied values depending on the working positions.
