A fan device () includes a shroud () including a motor support unit (), a fan () disposed on a surface side of the motor support unit (), and a motor () supported on a rear side of the motor support unit (). Multiple air guide passages () each penetrating in a thickness direction at positions spaced apart in a circumferential direction and radially outward from a bossof the fan () are formed in the motor support unit (). The fan device () further includes an air guide unit () that is disposed facing the air guide passage () on the rear side of the motor support unit (), and guides cooling air generated by the fan () and passed through the air guide passage () to a rear side of a motor bracket ().

Fan device

A fan shroud and a blower device are provided. The fan shroud includes a shroud wall surface and a plurality of ventilation openings. The shroud wall surface extends around a fan along a radial direction orthogonal to a rotation axis. The plurality of ventilation openings are formed through the shroud wall surface in a thickness direction of the shroud wall surface to allow passing of wind generated by a fan motor. A width of a wall surface side opening on a downstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening is smaller than a width of a lateral wall side opening on an upstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening.

Fan shroud and blower device

A blower device includes a motor having an output shaft and a housing; a fan rotationally driven by the motor; and a shroud having a shroud body with a fan installation hole, and a motor mounting part for mounting the motor arranged inside the fan installation hole when viewed in an axial direction of the output shaft. The motor mounting part includes an inner cylinder surrounding a periphery of the motor from a radial outer side of the output shaft; an outer cylinder surrounding the inner cylinder from the radial outer side; and spokes connecting the inner and the outer cylinders. The inner cylinder includes a top wall covering the motor from above while the shroud is fixed. A back end edge of the top wall, which is located on a positive pressure side when the fan is rotated, is located closer to the positive pressure side than the housing.

Blower device

A cooling-fan-apparatus fan shroud includes: a cover wall that closes a space between a heat exchanger and a circumference of a fan; and a passing permitting frame part that is positioned between the fan and an attachment part to a vehicle at an outer side of the cover wall and that allows free passing of traveling air, wherein a reinforcement rib is provided at an opening of the passing permitting frame part, and at least part of the reinforcement rib is a deflection louver that guides the traveling air to a predetermined direction.

Cooling fan apparatus

A cooling fan includes a boss section () connected to a rotary drive source, a plurality of blades () protruding outward from the boss section in a radial direction, and a cylindrical ring member () configured to annularly connect the vicinities of end sections outside in the radial direction of the plurality of blades. The plurality of blades () protruding outward from the boss section () in the radial direction are connected by the cylindrical ring member () in the vicinity of the end section outside in the radial direction. An air inlet groove () is formed at an end section in an axial direction of an air suction side of the ring member (). The air inlet groove () is disposed between front regions in the rotation direction of all of the blades () on the ring member () and front regions in the rotation direction of the blades () adjacent thereto. The air flowing from the outer circumferential side passes through the air inlet groove () of the ring member () and gradually changes a direction to be suctioned between the blades ().

Cooling fan

A cooling fan of the present invention includes: a bottomed cylindrical boss portion; and a plurality of blades provided on an outer circumferential surface of the boss portion, the blades radiating in a radial direction, in which a ring member for connecting the blades with each other is provided on a side radially inner from tips of the blades. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cooling fan capable of preventing the worsening of the noise characteristic and also of enhancing the versatility even if the blades are made thinner.
