An intubation assistance apparatus includes a main body having a proximal end portion; an intubation assistance instrument having an elongated insertion section for insertion into a target site or its vicinity of a patient from a mouth cavity of the patient, the inserting section being formed with a tube guide for leading the intubation tube toward the observation site; and an imaging device for taking an image of an observation site at a distal end portion of the insertion section as an electronic image. The main body includes a display having a screen for displaying the electronic image taken by the imaging device, and the screen of the display is adapted to indicate a target mark for adjusting or setting an advancing direction of the intubation tube to the observation site displayed on the screen in the electronic image displayed on the screen.

Medical device for inserting a video laryngoscope

A camera having a sliding cover supported to slide along a front surface of a camera body to selectively cover and uncover a photographing lens. The sliding cover has at least two sliding cover elements which are slidable along the front surface of the camera body. The sliding cover has a main cover element that slides along the front surface of the camera body, and an auxiliary cover element provided between the main cover element and the front surface of the camera body. The auxiliary cover element is moved in association with a movement of the main cover element in an opening direction and a closing direction to respectively increase and reduce an amount of overlap between the main cover element and the auxiliary cover element.

Lens cover that slides along front surface of a camera body

A camera such as a portable small-size camera includes a structural body composed of a plurality of integrally coupled functional components, including a lens barrel, an automatic focusing device, a viewfinder, and a stroboscopic flash unit, a cover enclosing the structural body, and a plurality of slender rods extending between the structural body and the cover. The structural body is supported by the cover through the slender rods. The slender rods are rigid enough to position the structural body and the cover with respect to each other, and flexible enough to be elastically deformable when shocks are applied thereto.

Camera having deformable shock dampening members

A camera viewfinder having a plurality of lens groups, wherein a photographing optical system of the camera is separate from the viewfinder. The viewfinder includes a parallax error compensating and diopter adjusting lens group which is one of the plurality of lens groups. The viewfinder further includes a guide member for guiding the compensating and adjusting lens group in a direction that intersects the optical axis of the viewfinder so as to move the lens group towards and away from the optical axis of the photographing optical system. In addition, there is provided an object distance detecting mechanism for detecting a distance of an object to be photographed, and a movement control mechanism for continuously moving the parallax error compensating and diopter adjusting lens group along the guide member in accordance with the object distance detected by the object distance detecting mechanism.

Viewfinder

A mechanism for adjusting the diopter setting of a finder assembly which has an objective optical system and an eyepiece optical system, includes an object side image forming position adjusting device which adjusts the position where an image is to be formed by the objective optical system. The mechanism effectively compensates for any change that occurs in the position where an image is formed by the objective optical system due to temperature or humidity variations. Thus, the problem of plastic lenses having their focal lengths extended in a hot and humid environment is solved by the invention.

Device for adjusting the diopter setting of a finder assembly

A light projecting device used to project light onto an object has a light source and a projection lens system. The light emitted by the light source is refracted by the projection lens system to form an image pattern consisting of alternate bright and dark areas. The image pattern is used to illuminate an object whose distance is to be measured using a passive distance measuring system. The projection system consists of only converging lenses.

Light projecting device with cylindrical lens

An adjusting apparatus of a mirror having a reflecting surface located in an optical path of a view finder. The apparatus includes a casing to which the mirror is attached, a mirror adjusting mechanism which is movable between a fixed state and an adjustable state in which the mirror is rotatable about an adjusting axis passing through the reflecting surface of the mirror. The fixed state corresponds to a design position of the mirror with respect to the casing. The mirror adjusting mechanism is brought to the fixed state upon attaching the mirror to the casing without effecting an adjustment of the mirror adjusting mechanism. The design position is within a range of angular adjustment corresponding to the adjustable state of the mirror adjusting mechanism.

A waterproof camera including a watertight camera body, air bleeding holes formed in the camera body to connect the inside and outside of the camera body, an air permeable and water impermeable filter attached to the air bleeding holes, and a jig guiding projection which guides a filter adhering jig adapted to attach the air permeable and water impermeable filter to the air bleeding holes.

Waterproof camera

A clamp structure clamps superimposed circuit boards to a support plate portion of a rangefinder case in a still camera. The clamp structure includes first and second support arms spaced in confronting relation from each other by a distance greater than the thicknesses of the superimposed circuit boards and the support plate portion. The first and second support arms are disposed in sandwiching relation to the circuit boards and the support plate portion. A rod is inserted in a space defined between the second support arm and the lowermost circuit board which faces the second support arm while the first support arm is being held against the uppermost circuit board which faces the first support arm. With the rod inserted in the space, the circuit boards are fastened to the support plate portion between the first and second support arms under the resiliency of either an elastic member which is placed between the first support arm and the uppermost circuit board or the resiliency of the first and second support arms themselves.

Clamp structure for plural members

A photometry device having a block body, constructed as a single body, on which all of the elements of a photometry system are mounted. The photometry system includes a condenser lens, a stop plate having a stop and a photosensor. An output characteristic of the photo sensor is determined by a pre-set resistance provided in a circuit board, and is adjusted during the process of assembling the block body. The photo sensor does not require a re-adjustment after the block body is assembled into a camera.
