Provided is a method for configuring wireless connection settings, a wireless communications apparatus, and a display method, the method being executed by the wireless communications apparatus and including: (a) receiving a first radio signal which includes second configuration information; (b) receiving authentication information for use in authenticating a first device from a second device, the authentication information being uniquely associated with the first device; (c) retaining the authentication information; (d) establishing the wireless connection with the first device, using the second configuration information; (e) transmitting a second radio signal which includes the authentication information, to the first device through the wireless connection established; (f) receiving a third radio signal which includes response information to the authentication information; and (g) transmitting the first configuration information to the first device if the response information indicates that the first device has been successfully authenticated.

Method for configuring wireless connection settings, wireless communications apparatus, and display method

If an execution target application is an application with a high load for a client terminal, a mode switching unit switches an execution system from a simplex processing mode to a distributed processing mode. On the other hand, upon receiving a switching notification for switching the execution system to the simplex processing mode from a server, the mode switching unit causes a distributed display processing unit to stop display processing for the application and sets the execution system of the application to the simplex processing mode.

An image rendering device realizes stereoscopic viewing of composite images generated by compositing background three-dimensional models and foreground three-dimensional models each defined in three-dimensional modeling space. A texture mapping unit converts background image data into two or more viewpoint textures and maps each viewpoint texture to a background three-dimensional model in the three-dimensional modeling space. A viewport conversion unit extracts, for each of the two or more viewpoint textures, a viewport image from the background three-dimensional model mapped with the viewpoint texture and from the foreground three-dimensional model. By comparing a parallax of the foreground three-dimensional model occurring in stereoscopic playback with a parallax of the intra-texture object occurring in stereoscopic playback, the device determines depth relationship between the foreground three-dimensional model and the intra-texture object and adjusts positional relationship between the foreground three-dimensional model and the intra-texture object based on a result of the determination.

Image rendering device, image rendering method, and image rendering program for rendering stereoscopic images

A image providing device provides a user with realistic and natural past-experience simulation through stereoscopic photographs. Specifically, feature-point extractors extract feature points from a foreground image and a background image, respectively. A stereoscopic matching module searches for pairs of feature points matching between the foreground image and the background image and obtains using the feature point pairs a transformation matrix for projecting the foreground image onto the background image. The transformation by the transformation matrix obtained by the matching unit is applied to foreground depth data, which is depth data of the foreground image. Lastly, depth based rendering is performed based on the transformed foreground depth data to obtain two or more viewpoint images corresponding to the foreground image.

A playback apparatus includes a package management unit operable to generate package information by merging files recorded on a first recording medium and a second recording medium, in accordance with merge management information. A selection unit is operable to detect a plurality of playable titles from the package information and select one of the detected titles as a current title. A processing unit is operable to execute an application specified in the current title and that is included in the package information. A playback control engine is operable to control playback of a digital stream in the current title and that is included in the package information. Status registers each store a parameter relating to a playback status of the digital stream, and backup registers each save one of the status registers.

A recording mediumon which an index table, an operation mode object, and byte-code applications are recorded. The index table shows correspondence between one or more titles and one or more operation mode objects. The operation mode object includes an application management table and display rate initialization information. The application management table indicates a byte-code application to be started to a playback device when a title corresponding to the operation mode object is selected as a current title. The display rate initialization information indicates how to initialize a display rate of a display device connected to the playback device when the title corresponding to the operation mode object is selected as the current title.
