A vehicle seat attachable to a vehicle body, the vehicle seat including: a seat back; and a headrest configured to support a head of a seated occupant, the headrest including: a base portion fixed to the seat back; a slide portion slidable in a left-right direction in a state where the head is supported to the base portion; and an electric mechanism configured to slide the slide portion in the left-right direction, and in which the slide portion is configured to be moved by the electric mechanism in a moving direction in which the head moves in the left-right direction due to acceleration in the left-right direction applied when a vehicle moves, the electric mechanism being operated by a control device disposed in the vehicle body in response to a signal from a sensor disposed in the vehicle body, the sensor being configured to detect the moving direction.

Vehicle seat, headrest and headrest control system

There is provided a seat back interlocking ottoman device for a vehicle seat configured such that an angle of a seat back relative to a seat cushion can be adjusted and an ottoman is provided to the seat cushion. The ottoman device includes an interlocking mechanism configured to retract the ottoman to a retracted position below the front side of the seat cushion when the seat back is located at a regular usage position and to move the ottoman from the retracted position to an extended position at the front side of the seat cushion to thus support a leg part of a passenger when the seat back is tilted rearwards from the regular usage position. A part of the interlocking mechanism is configured to be operable by an arbitrary operation such that the ottoman can be moved between the retracted position and the extended position.

Seat back interlocking ottoman device and vehicle seat

A vehicle seat, which adjusts an inclination angle of a seat back with respect to a seat cushion through a recliner, includes a base member, a bracket, which supports the seat back so that the seat back is able to move, and is fixed to a rotation side of the recliner, a connecting member that connects the seat cushion and the seat back with each other, a first guide mechanism that guides the seat back with respect to the bracket, and a second guide mechanism that guides the seat cushion with respect to the base member. The seat back and the seat cushion are guided by the first guide mechanism and the second guide mechanism, respectively, so that the seat back and the seat cushion move rotationally about a position corresponding to a hip-point of a seated occupant.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat in which an angle of a seatback with respect to a seat cushion is adjustable and which includes an ottoman in front of the seat cushion includes: an association mechanism which operates the seatback and the ottoman in association with each other; and an association prohibition mechanism, wherein when a tilting operation to tilt the seatback forward from a normal usage position is performed so as to decrease a relative angle of the seatback with respect to the seat cushion, the association prohibition mechanism disables an association function of the ottoman caused by the association mechanism according to the tilting operation.

A conveyance seat includes a seat back; a seat cushion; a first link member; and a second link member. The floor or the seat cushion is connected to the seat back by the first and second link members. The first link member is shorter than the second link member. The seat back is able to be moved in a front-rear direction such that the first link member and the second link member do not intersect with each other. The seat back is able to be laid on or over the seat cushion such that the first link member and the second link member intersect with each other. A lock device is provided, and the lock device stops movement of the seat back while the seat back is moved in the front-rear direction such that the first link member and the second link member do not intersect with each other.

Conveyance seat

A vehicle seat includes a supporting member that supports a load of a seated person, a cushion frame, a rear pipe that is rotatably attached to the cushion frame, a lifter link that is fixed to the rear pipe, and a bracket that is rotatably attached to the rear pipe. An inclination of the cushion frame changes when the cushion frame is moved up and down by tilting the lifter link. The supporting member is connected to the rear pipe via the bracket.

There is provided a vehicle seat including a seat frame which supports a load of a sitting passenger, a seat pad which is set on the seat frame and receives the load of the sitting passenger to be relieved, and a support body which is supported to the seat frame and supports a part of the seat pad from a backside thereof. The support body is supported to the seat frame to be slidable in an in-plane direction of a plane supporting the load of the sitting passenger or to be axially rotatable in an out-of-plane direction of the plane, such that the load of the sitting passenger can be relieved. The seat pad includes a fixed part which is supported to the seat frame at a fixed position and a movable part which is supported to the support body to be movable.

A conveyance seat includes a seat frame; a seat pad; and a support body disposed based on a center portion of a distribution of a sitting pressure applied by a seated occupant to the seat pad. The support body is supported with respect to the seat frame such that a front end portion thereof is rotatable in a right-left direction about a straight line tilted upward in a direction from a front side toward a rear side, and a rear end portion thereof is movable in the right-left direction. The seat pad includes a fixed portion that is supported at a fixed position by the seat frame, and a movable portion that is supported by the support body such that the movable portion is movable.

A seatback-associated ottoman device includes: a memory mechanism that mechanically memorizes an unfolded angle position of an ottoman and cancels the memorized unfolded angle position when the unfolded angle of the ottoman is adjusted by the angle adjustment mechanism; and a prohibition mechanism that prohibits the canceling the memorized unfolded angle position of the memory mechanism when the ottoman is placed at the stored position.

Vehicle seat and seatback-associated ottoman device

There is provided a vehicle seat including a seat cushion configured to support a weight of a sitting passenger from below, and a seat back configured to support an upper body of the sitting passenger from a back side thereof. The seat back includes a seat back fixing part including a back frame which configures a frame of the seat back, and a seat back moving part configured to support the upper body of the passenger at a passenger sitting surface side of the seat back fixing part. The seat back moving part is supported to the seat back fixing part so as to be rotatable about an upper part thereof in a left-right direction which corresponds to lateral sides of the sitting passenger.

A structure allows a functional member to be attached to an alloy frame without welding. In the state where a ratchet is disposed on a second side of the frame having an attachment bracket supported on a first side, a first fastener member is inserted through the functional member, frame, and attachment bracket so as to be received by a second fastener member provided in the attachment bracket.

In a seat back frame formed by attaching a spring unit to a frame body, the spring unit is easily attached to the frame without performing caulking. A projecting hooked portion is formed in one side of the spring unit, and an insertion hole that receives the hooked portion therein is provided in the frame. Thus, the hooked portion is inserted into the insertion hole and hooked at a position on the rear surface thereof.

A tilt-type headrest mounted on an upper horizontal portion of an arched support rod to be mounted on a backrest of a passenger seat, which headrest includes a headrest frame formed with a cylindrical hinge portion retained in frictional engagement with the horizontal portion of the support rod and a pair of opposed plate-like body portions extending in parallel from the hinge portion, the plate-like body portions each being integrally formed with an inwardly curled rim portion at their upper peripheries and both side peripheries and formed with a pair of laterally spaced joint portions at both sides of the hinge portion, the inwardly curled rim portions and the joint portions being engaged with each other in a condition where the headrest frame has been folded at its hinge portion to oppose the plate-like portions to one another and a pair of laterally spaced clamp members each formed with a cylindrical hinge portion retained in frictional engagement with the horizontal portion of the support rod and a pair of attachment portions extending in parallel from the hinge portion of each of the clamp members and fastened to each pair of the joint portions of the opposed plate-like portions, wherein the horizontal portion of the support rod is integrally formed with an arched projection at its center to be selectively engaged with opposed internal surfaces of the plate-like body portions for restricting forward or backward movement of the headrest frame.
