A bridge rectifier circuit has first to fourth diode groups which are bridge-connected and each include a main diode and sub-diodes being enabled to be respectively connected in parallel to the main diode, first and second input terminals to which AC power is supplied, a first output terminal connected to the first input terminal via the first diode group and connected to the second input terminal via the second diode group, a second output terminal connected to the first input terminal via the third diode group and connected to the second input terminal via the fourth diode group, and a control circuit configured to detect a current flowing through at least one diode group and increases the number of sub-diodes connected in parallel to the main diode of the diode group through which the detected current flows in accordance with an increase in the detected current.

Bridge rectifier circuit

A power circuit includes a first and a second switches between a input terminal and a reference power source; an inductor between a output terminal and a node between the first and the second switches, a main capacitor coupled to the output terminal, a main switch between the inductor and the output terminal, a sub capacitor coupled to a node between the inductor and the main switch through a sub switch, and a control circuit. And the control circuit performs: switching operation of the first and the second switches, and suspension operation that maintains an off-state of the first and the second switches after switching operation; the switching operation on the main capacitor by switching on the main switch; the switching operation on the sub capacitor by switching on the sub switch; and the switching operation by switching on the main switch and the sub switch.

Power circuit

A quantizer takes an analog signal as input and produces a quantized signal for output. The quantizer includes a shoot-through current detection unit and a feedback unit. The shoot-through current detection unit is configured to detect a shoot-through current flowing through the quantizer. The feedback unit is configured to feed back a signal from the shoot-through current detection unit and control an electric charge stored at an input of the quantizer.

A semiconductor integrated circuit includes: a first switching element and a second switching element that are provided in series between a first power line and a second power line; a power supply circuit that outputs a given output voltage by on/off controlling the first switching element and the second switch element; a current detection circuit that detects a current corresponding to an output load current of the power supply circuit; a switching time control circuit that controls a switching time defined by a power supply voltage and the output voltage based on a current value detected by the current detection circuit; and a switching element control circuit that controls the first switching element and the second switching element based on an output signal of the switching time control circuit.

Multi-mode DC-DC power converters

A DC-DC converter for generating an output voltage from input voltage, includes: an output stage for outputting the output voltage; an error amplifier having an input and a reference input for receiving a feedback voltage at the input in accordance with the output voltage and for receiving a reference voltage at the reference input, the error amplifier generating an amplified voltage for driving the output stage, the amplifier voltage corresponding to the difference between the feedback voltage and the reference voltage; a phase compensation unit for generating a phase compensation component to the feedback voltage; and a phase compensation controller for controlling the phase of the phase compensation unit; wherein the feedback voltage is determined by the output voltage plus said phase compensation component.
