A heat pump includes an indoor heat exchanger; an outdoor heat exchanger that is connected to the indoor heat exchanger; an accumulator that is connected to the outdoor heat exchanger; an evaporative heat exchanger that is provided between the outdoor heat exchanger and the accumulator; and a bypass circuit that that is configured to enable a refrigerant that has flowed out of the indoor heat exchanger to flow into the evaporative heat exchanger.

Heat pump

A heat pump is provided with a compressor; an oil separator provided on a discharge path of the compressor; an accumulator connected to the compressor via a suction path; and a bypass circuit configured to supply a gas refrigerant separated by the oil separator. The bypass circuit is connected to the suction path.

A heat pump system includes a first heat pump and a second heat pump. The first heat pump includes a first outdoor unit. The first outdoor unit includes a compressor, an outdoor-unit connecting pipe, and a refrigerant filling port. The outdoor-unit connecting pipe connects an intake path of the compressor and a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump for supplying a refrigerant to the second outdoor unit of the second heat pump. The refrigerant filling port is provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

An exemplary heat pump includes: an accumulator that separates liquid refrigerant from gas refrigerant returning to a compressor; a refrigerant suction channel connecting the compressor to the accumulator; a refrigerant return channel that returns liquid refrigerant in the accumulator to the refrigerant suction channel; a first valve disposed on the refrigerant return channel; a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of refrigerant in the refrigerant suction channel; a second valve that reduces a pressure of a part of liquid refrigerant flowing between the first and second heat exchangers; a refrigerant evaporator that gasifies, by using waste heat of an engine, the liquid refrigerant whose pressure has been reduced; a gas refrigerant supply channel through which the gasified refrigerant is supplied to the accumulator; and a control device that, while the first valve is open, controls an opening of the second valve based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.

An outdoor unit of the heat pump includes a compressor, an oil separator provided in a discharge path of the compressor, an outdoor-unit connecting pipe connecting an intake path of the compressor and an outdoor unit of an another heat pump for supplying a refrigerant to the outdoor unit of the another heat pump, an oil supply pipe extending from a predetermined position of the oil separator and connecting to the outdoor-unit connecting pipe, an on-off valve provided on the oil supply pipe, an expansion valve provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between a connecting part connected to the intake path and a connecting part connected to the oil supply pipe, and a refrigerant filling port provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between the connecting part and the expansion valve.

In a case where a control device receives a stop signal instructing stopping of an engine and the control device determines that the engine temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature based on a signal from a timer or based on a signal from a cooling water temperature sensor, an operation control is maintained until the control device determines that the engine temperature is the predetermined temperature or higher. This way, an engine is provided which is capable of restraining generation of blowby condensate water without stopping a cooling water pump during the operation of the engine.

Engine

An engine driven heat pump includes an outdoor fan and an engine cooling water pump, each of which is driven by the generation power of a generator, and after a lapse of a first predetermined time from a predetermined actuation time of an engine, the output power from the generator is output-controlled, and the power output control is started so as to obtain the generation power, and when it is determined that the generation voltage after the start of the power output control is equal to or higher than a predetermined voltage, the engine cooling water pump is driven, and after a lapse of a second predetermined time from a predetermined drive time of the engine cooling water pump, the outdoor fan is driven, and after a lapse of a third predetermined time from a predetermined drive time of the outdoor fan, the output control of the inverter is started.

Engine driven heat pump

An engine driven heat pump includes a compressor clutch to switch between an ON state where drive from an engine is transmitted to a compressor and an OFF state where transmission of the drive from the engine to the compressor is cut off, an engine actuation battery to actuate the engine, a battery charging circuit configured to charge the engine actuation battery, and an inverter configured to convert output power from a generator into a predetermined voltage and a predetermined frequency, and when the compressor clutch is placed into the ON state from the OFF state or placed into the OFF state from the ON state during a self-sustaining operation, engine revolutions, which are revolutions of the engine, are set to reference revolutions required for the generator to supply predetermined power.
