In order to provide a treatment apparatus that can efficiently perform microwave irradiation, a treatment apparatus includes: a vessel made of a microwave-reflecting material, and having a first end and an irradiation opening portion, which is an emitting portion of microwaves that are emitted into the vessel; a first filter located so as to partition the vessel, and configured to separate solids that are to be separated, from the contents of the vessel; and a first reflecting member located closer to the first end than the emitting portion is and so as to partition the vessel, and configured to allow at least the contents having passed through the first filter to pass through the first reflecting member, and to reflect microwaves.

Treatment apparatus

The present invention provides a mixing impeller and the like capable of properly performing mixing. A mixing impeller includes multiple blade pairs each having two blades, wherein the blades included in the multiple blade pairs are attached around a rotational shaft extending in a lateral direction, so as to be positioned at a same position in an axial direction of the rotational shaft, the two blades of each blade pair each have a shape that is symmetric about a symmetry plane that is a plane perpendicular to the rotational shaft, the two blades of each blade pair are formed so as to extend from the rotational shaft side toward an outer circumferential side, which is a side opposite to the rotational shaft side, and blade outer portions that are on the outer circumferential side are bent toward a side on which the two blades face each other.

In order to provide a microwave treatment apparatus capable of properly controlling microwave irradiation, a microwave treatment apparatusincludes: an irradiating portion that performs microwave irradiation from multiple emitting portions; a moving portion that individually moves the multiple emitting portions; and a control portion that controls movements of the emitting portions by the moving portion, wherein the irradiating portion is such that phases of microwaves that are emitted from the multiple emitting portions are changeable, and the control portion controls phases of microwaves that are emitted by the irradiating portion from the multiple emitting portions.

An aromatic polyester film, which comprises an aromatic polyester comprising 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid as the main dicarboxylic acid component and 1,3-propanediol as the main diol component and having a density of at least 1.310 g/cm . A laminated film comprising another polyester layer can be formed from this aromatic polyester film. An aromatic polyester containing a small amount of a sulfonic acid phosphonium salt used as one of the aromatic polyesters forming this laminated film is excellent in electrostatic casting properties and resistance to the contamination of an electrostatic wire, and an aromatic polyester containing an inorganic anti-fungus agent is used for antifungal application.

Trimethylene-2, 6-naphthalene dicarboxylate (co)polymer film, quaternary phosphonium sulfonate copolymer and compositions thereof

A biaxially oriented polyester film to be laminated onto a metal plate and molded, (A) which comprises a copolyester comprising (a) terephthalic acid in an amount of 82 to 100 mol % and 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid or a combination of 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and other dicarboxylic acid in an amount of 0 to 18 mol % of the total of all dicarboxylic acid components and (b) ethylene glycol in an amount of 82 to 100 mol % and cyclohexanedimethanol or a combination of cyclohexanedimethanol and other diol in an amount of 0 to 18 mol % of the total of all diol components, having (c) a glass transition temperature of 78&deg; C. or more and (d) a melting point of 210 to 250&deg; C., and containing (e) porous silica particles with a pore volume of 0.5 to 2.0 ml/g which are agglomerates of primary particles having an average particle diameter of 0.001 to 0.1 &mgr;m; and (B) which has the following relationship between the highest peak temperature (Te, &deg;C.) of loss elastic modulus and the glass transition temperature (Tg, &deg;C.): Te&minus;Tg&lE;30. This film has improved taste-and-flavor retainabilities, particularly taste and flavor retainabilities after a retort treatment, without losing the excellent moldability, heat resistance, impact resistance and retort resistance of a copolyester film.

Biaxially oriented polyester film to be laminated onto metal plate and molded

A biaxially oriented polyester film to be molded and laminated with a metal sheet which shows excellent moldability when it is laminated with a metal sheet and subjected to a can making process such as drawing and from which a metal can such as a drink can or food can having excellent heat resistance, retort resistance, taste and odor retention properties, impact resistance and corrosion preventing properties can be produced. This polyester film is produced from a copolyester which contains porous particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 2.5 &mgr;m, a pore volume of 0.05 to 2.5 ml/g, a specific surface area of 50 to 600 m /g and a compressive resistance of 1 to 100 MPa and has a glass transition temperature of 70&deg; C. or higher and lower than 78&deg; C., a melting point of 210 to 250&deg; C. and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.50 to 0.80 dl/g.

Biaxially oriented polyester film to be molded and laminated on metal sheet

A polyester composition containing fine particles with an average size of 0.03-1.8 &mgr;m which have been surface-modified with polyester (B) of which less than 70 mole percent of the repeating units consist of ethylene terephthalate, butylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate units, in polyester (A) of which at least 70 mole percent of the repeating units consist of ethylene terephthalate, butylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate units. A process for preparing a modified thermoplastic resin composition by incorporating a modifier-containing thermoplastic resin into a transport line of a thermoplastic resin, comprising subjecting the resin to static mixing and to dynamic mixing by passing the resin through a dynamic mixing apparatus having a mixing blade unit and a power unit for driving the mixing blade unit and provided in the same transport line, as well as a modified thermoplastic resin composition prepared by the process and having a filtration pressure increase rate of no greater than 10 kg/cm,/hr when filtration is performed using a double layer of 2400 mesh wire filters with an inner diameter of 64 mm&phgr;, at a melting point of the modified thermoplastic resin or a temperature of from 20&deg; C. to 100&deg; C. higher than the plasticizing point of the resin and at a filtration rate of 33.3 g/min.

A laminated polyester film comprises: a first layer formed of a first aromatic copolymer having a terminal carboxyl group centration of 10 to 35 equivalent/10.sup.6 g; and a second layer of a molten blend having a terminal carboxyl group concentration of 40 to 80 equivalent/10.sup.6 g, which comprises a second aromatic polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as a main recurring unit and a third aromatic polyester containing tetramethylene terephthalate as a main recurring unit. The laminated polyester film exhibits excellent moldability when a metal plate laminated therewith is deep drawn, and is excellent in impact resistance and flavor retaining property after can making.
