A cable conductor includes a conductor portion and an insulating material covering the conductor portion. The conductor portion includes a plurality of conductive materials having different characteristics.

A waterproofing structure for shielded cable includes: a shielded cable including one or more cables and a braided wire serving as a shielding member and covering the cables; and a grommet serving as a waterproofing member covering a waterproofed portion of the braided wire. Thermoplastic resins serving as waterproofing fillers are respectively disposed on an inner side and an outer side of the waterproofed portion of the braided wire. The gaps between the plurality of strands of the braided wire and the gap between the braided wire and the small-diameter cylindrical portion of the grommet are filled with the thermoplastic resin melted by heating.

Waterproofing structure and waterproofing method for shielded cable

A waterproofing structure for shielded cable includes: a shielded cable including one or more cables and a braided wire serving as a shielding member and covering the cables; a grommet serving as a waterproofing member and covering a waterproofed portion on the braided wire; and a heat shrinkable tube including an adhesive disposed to cover the waterproofed portion of the braided wire. The adhesive pushed into the braided wire by heat shrinkage of the heat shrinkable tube fills a gap between a plurality of strands of the braided wire in an entire region of the waterproofed portion and a gap between the cable and the braided wire. A space between an outer circumferential surface of the heat shrinkable tube and a part of an inner circumferential surface of the waterproofing member is blocked without any gap in a circumferential direction.

A wire harness includes a harness main body including one or a plurality of conductive paths and an exterior member through which the one or a plurality of conductive paths is inserted, a packing bent portion arranged in a middle of the harness main body and used as a bent portion at a position suitable for packing the wire harness, and a routing path regulating portion arranged at the position suitable for packing the wire harness and configured to regulate the wire harness at a desired path when routing the wire harness.

A line-shaped assembly includes a heat source that includes a heat source main body extending straightly and a heat source cover member covering the heat source main body, and a tubular-shaped heat source protective member that accommodates and protects the heat source. The heat source protective member is made of resin, and includes a first tube body portion with an inner surface that has a small area per unit length in an axial direction of the heat source protective member in contact with the heat source, and a second tube body portion with an inner surface that has a contact area larger than that of the first tube body portion.

Line-shaped assembly

A wire harness includes: a tubular outer member; and a conductive path which is inserted in and protected by the outer member. The conductive path includes a vibration suppressing portion which reduces a movable space of the conductive path at a prescribed position inside the outer member to suppress shaking of the conductive path. The vibration suppressing portion is formed by a partially increased thickness portion of a covering of the conductive path.

A wire harness includes at least one conductive path, and an exterior member having a tubular shape and made of resin, the exterior member covering the conductive path. The exterior member includes a flexible tube portion with flexibility and a non-flexible tube portion with low flexibility lower than the flexibility of the flexible tube portion. At least one of the flexible tube portion and the non-flexible tube portion includes a thick portion and a thin portion which are arranged in a tube axis direction, the thick portion and the thin portion being different in thickness.

When bus bars are covered with covering parts and high-voltage conducting paths are formed and further the ends of the high-voltage conducting paths are provided with a motor side connector and an inverter side connector, formation of a wire harness is completed. Since the wire harness has a shape holding part, the whole bus bar is not a rigid body. The wire harness has plasticity. Since the shape holding part holds the shape at a point in time of stopping a bend process, the wire harness can be formed in a desired bend shape.

A wire harness manufacturing method includes a conduction path inserting step of inserting one or a plurality of conduction paths from one end of a resin-made tubular exterior member to the other end thereof, and an exterior member working step of performing post-working on one or a plurality of parts of the exterior member, after the conduction path inserting step. The exterior member working step includes forming a convex-shaped part when viewed from an inner surface side of the exterior member by performing the post-working using heat on an outer surface side of the exterior member. The convex-shaped part is a vibration suppressing part to reduce a play rate of the conduction path in the exterior member and suppress a vibration of the conduction path.

A branch connector for vehicle wire harnesses is connected to an inverter that is connected to a battery and configured to distribute electric power. The branch connector for vehicle wire harnesses is integrally connected to a first device, which is one of a plurality of devices and is positioned upstream closer to the inverter, and is electrically connected to a second device, which is one of the plurality of devices and is positioned downstream, via a harness. A wire harness includes a first conductor path having a high priority in protection, a second conductor path having a priority in protection which is lower than that of the first conductor path, and an external member having a tubular shape and accommodating the first conductor path and the second conductor path altogether so as to protect them. The external member has a form in which the first conductor path is positioned farther away from a road surface than the second conductor path within a predetermined range in a longitudinal direction thereof.

A wire harness includes an exterior member having a tube shape. The exterior member includes a flexible tube part formed in a flexible bellows tube shape and a straight tube part. The straight tube part is formed continuously with the flexible tube part so as to arrange the conductive path straight and has a non-bellows tube shape. A continuous portion between the flexible tube part and the straight tube part includes a tapered portion formed in a whole peripheral direction of the exterior member so as to reduce stress concentration in the continuous portion. An inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the tapered portion include slopes connecting a top of a bellows projection of the flexible tube part and the straight tube part, or connecting a groove bottom of a bellows recess of the flexible tube part and the straight tube part.
