A variable displacement compressor comprises a housing forming a crank chamber, a shaft, expansible chambers including pistons, a swash plate connected to the shaft so as to be smoothly changeable in inclination against the shaft and driven to rotate, a wobble plate rotatable on the swash plate, a rotation preventing mechanism including a shoe member slidable in an axial direction, and a pressure control valve which is provided in a refrigerant passage from a suction port of the compressor to the expansible chamber to control the pressure of refrigerant to be sucked responsive to the suction pressure and both to the suction pressure and to the discharge pressure when the discharge pressure is high. The refrigerant passage has a sharply bent portion for separating lubrication oil from a refrigerant flowing therein and communicates with the crank chamber to discharge blow-by gas therefrom.

An air conditioning method for controlling a room temperature by an air conditioner which controls a temperature control element in accordance with a required cooling power in the room. A temperature of chilled air blown out of a chilled air blow-off port of the air conditioner is directly or indirectly monitored, and if the chilled air temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature, the chilled air blown out of the blow-off port is prevented from becoming colder than a predetermined temperature even when the chilled air temperature would become lower than the predetermined temperature if the temperature control in accordance with the required cooling force in the room is applied.

Temperature control method and apparatus for air conditioner

In a swash plate type compressor, an oil separating chamber is arranged in the course of the flow of coolant gas from an inlet to a low pressure chamber. An oil accumulating chamber is formed between the rear end of the drive shaft and the rear side cover. The oil accumulating chamber is communicated with the oil separating chamber and with a thrust bearing through an oil passage formed in the drive shaft. The thrust bearing is lubricated by use of oil from the oil accumulating chamber.

Swash plate type compressor

A variable stage type carburetor provided with a venturi vane which is adapted to vary the venturi area in a venturi portion thereof, commensurate to the opening of a throttle valve. This carburetor features that, in the running condition where the opening of a throttle valve is considerably large and yet the quantity of intake air is relatively less, the venturi vane is forcedly displaced in a direction to be closed so as to increase the venturi negative pressure in the venturi portion, thereby enhancing the injection of fuel.
