In a combustion apparatus including: a burner made up of a burner body and a sheet-metal combustion plate; and a combustion box which has a connection flange part to be coupled to a body flange part in a circumference of the burner body, the combustion box has disposed therein water passages as a cooling means, and a thermal insulation material which overlaps that portion of the combustion plate flange part which faces an inner space of the combustion box. A fixing plate for the thermal insulation material is attached to the combustion plate flange part. The fixing plate is provided with pressing claws for pressing in position the thermal insulation material so as to press and prevent the thermal insulation material from getting released away from the fixing plate. And water passages are disposed in a manner to contact the pressing claws.

Combustion apparatus

A heat transfer fin () made of stainless steel-based metal for a heat exchanger, has a plurality of upper stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes (), a plurality of lower stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes formed (), upper end cut portions () formed between the adjacent upper stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes (), and lower end cut portions () formed between the adjacent lower stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes (), wherein the upper end cut portions () are formed so as to extend from a fin upper end portion () beyond lower ends of the upper stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes () to positions in the vicinity of upper ends of the lower stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes (), and the lower end cut portions () are formed so as to extend from a fin lower end portion () to positions above the lower ends of the lower stage heat-transfer-tube insertion holes ().

Heat transfer fin and heat exchanger using thereof

A combustion apparatus has a plurality of longitudinally elongated gas burners, each having a burner port on an upper end thereof. A damper is disposed to cover gas inlet ports on an upstream end of an air-fuel mixing tube portion of each of the gas burners. The damper has formed therein ventilation holes for limiting primary air. The ventilation holes overlap, and are smaller than, the gas inlet ports. The damper has #1 ventilation holes having obstacles against which the fuel gas to be ejected from the gas nozzles strike, and #2 ventilation holes without obstacles. Poor combustion such as flame lifting is restricted and combustion noises are reduced.

A combined combustion device comprises: a plurality of combustion units () each having a burner () and an air supply fan (); an exhaust collecting pipe () connecting the plurality of the combustion units () to each other; and a check valve () which opens by rotation of the air supply fan () and prevents backflow of combustion exhaust gas from the exhaust collecting pipe () into each of the combustion units (), wherein when one or more of the combustion units () among the plurality of the combustion units () are in a combustion operation state and the other one or more of the combustion units () are continuously maintained in a non-combustion operation state for a predetermined reference stoppage time or longer, the air supply fans () of the other one or more of the combustion units () are rotated for a certain time.

Combined combustion device

There is provided a combustion plate in which the combustion resonant sounds and instability at the time of high-load combustion can be resolved and in which a large opening ratio of the flame holes can be secured. Flame holes of an equal diameter are formed evenly over an entire surface of a combustion region of a plate main body in such a positional relationship that adjoining three flame holes form an equilateral triangle. Provided that a flame hole group which is made up of six flame holes disposed in a positional relationship to form an equilateral hexagon and one flame hole in the center of the equilateral hexagon is defined as a unit flame hole group when disposed adjacent to another flame hole group across a large equilateral hexagon enclosing the equilateral hexagon, there is formed in the surface of the plate main body a bottomed hole.

Combustion plate

A combustion apparatus has a burner, a combustion box containing therein a heat exchanger, an exhaust passage in fluid communication with the combustion box, a fan for supplying the burner with combustion air, and a predetermined length of air suction duct in fluid communication with a suction opening formed in a fan casing. The air suction duct has: on a downstream end thereof, an outlet cylindrical portion which is smaller in diameter than a diameter of the suction opening in the fan casing and which lies opposite to the suction opening; and a flange portion which overhangs radially outward from a perimeter of the air suction duct adjacent to the outlet cylindrical portion into contact with that peripheral portion of the fan casing which forms the suction opening. The flange portion is provided with an auxiliary suction opening in fluid communication with a space surrounding the outlet cylindrical portion.

Burner plate

An imperfect combustion detecting device includes a destructive current supplying means which supplies, under a condition that it is determined by a useful life determining means that a deterioration status corresponding value matches a use limit value, destructive current to a sensor in order to melt down a part of a circuit that configures the sensor. When it is determined that the sensor is no longer capable of performing a normal CO level detecting function, the sensor is destroyed to the extent rendering the CO level detecting function of the sensor lost to an unrecoverable level.

Imperfect combustion detecting device

A single can-type composite heat source machine including a single can body including a first combustion section having a first burner and a hot water supplying first main heat exchanger located above the first burner, and a second combustion section having a second burner and a second main heat exchanger located above the second burner and used for a purpose other than hot water supply. The first combustion section and the second combustion section are partitioned from each other by a partition wall and juxtaposed in a lateral direction. The machine includes a first auxiliary heat exchanger and a second auxiliary heat exchanger both of a latent heat recovery type connected to upstream sides of the first main heat exchanger and the second main heat exchanger, respectively. An exhaust system can be miniaturized and simplified in spite of provision of the auxiliary heat exchangers.

Single can-type composite heat source machine

Provided is a combustion apparatus that can positively prevent a combustible gas present in the vicinity from catching fire in performing prepurge, which involves exhausting air from a combustion chamber provided with a burner, before igniting the burner. The combustion apparatuscontains combustion control meansthat ignites the burner after performing prepurge by use of a fan, and gas detection meansthat is provided between an air supply portand the fanand detects the concentration of a combustible gas. The combustion control meansascertains, before starting the prepurge, whether a combustible gas of a preset maximum concentration or higher is detected by use of the gas detection means(STEP) and prohibits the prepurge by prohibiting the energization of the fanwhen a combustible gas of the maximum concentration or higher has been detected (STEP).

In a method of making a gas burner device, there are steps of symmetrically blanking a first metal plate and deforming it so as to form a first intermediate blank having a bulged portion, bending the first intermediate blank at a symmetrical center thereof to provide a first burner flow path with the bulged portion, and joining end portions of the intermediate blank to form a first burner, blanking a second metal plate and symmetrically deforming it so as to form a second intermediate blank having a bulged portion, bending the second intermediate blank at a symmetrical center thereof to provide a cover plate; and encasing at least an upper end of the first burner with the cover plate to form a slit-like sleeve first hole between the first burner and the cover plate, and forming a second burner flow path communication with a second burner suction hole and the slit-like sleeve fire hole so as to provide a second burner.

Method of making a burner device

In a gas burner device having a first burner having a first fire hole formed therein and a second burner having a second fire hole arranged therein, the fire hole is disposed around the first fire hole of a first burner to straddle the first fire hole. The second burner has a common suction hole through which a fuel gas and primary air are supplied to the second fire hole independent of fuel gas and primary air supplied to the first burner.
