Miniaturization by simplification of a structure is achieved while suppressing a bound of an opening/closing blade and securing improvement of functionality. A blade opening/closing apparatus includes: a base body that includes an aperture; a driving body that is movably supported by the base body and is operated by a driving force of a drive source; an opening/closing blade that is moved by an operation of the driving body and opens/closes the aperture; and a braking body that controls a movement speed of the opening/closing blade via the driving body, the driving body including, on one surface thereof, an engagement portion that is to be engaged with the opening/closing blade and transmits the driving force to the opening/closing blade, the driving body including, on another surface thereof, a braked portion to which a braking force of the braking body is to be applied.

A light amount adjusting device includes: a cover plate having a light-passing hole; a first separator being sheet-shaped and having a hole; a second separator being elastically deformable and sheet-shaped, positioned on a side opposite to the cover plate with the first separator therebetween, and having a hole; a first light amount adjusting blade movable between the cover plate and the first separator; a second light amount adjusting blade being movable between the first separator and the second separator; a base body to which the cover plate, the first separator, and the second separator are mounted, having a throughhole and mounting grooves, the throughhole being formed to have a diameter larger than a diameter of the hole of the second separator, the mounting grooves allowing the second separator to be mounted therein and being opened toward the throughhole.

Light amount adjusting device and image capture apparatus

Disclosed herein is a light amount adjustment apparatus, including: a shutter blade and a filter blade each configured to operate in a predetermined direction to adjust the amount of light transmitted through a lens group; a first magnet configured to drive the shutter blade; a first core and a first coil; a second magnet configured to drive the filter blade; and a second core and a second coil. The filter blade has a control portion for controlling and adjusts the amount of light transmitted through the lens group. The filter blade has at least one hole or one cutaway portion formed at a portion of the filter blade other than the control portion.

Light amount adjustment apparatus and image pickup apparatus

An optical pickup includes a lens holder holding an objective lens for converging a light beam on a signal recording layer of an optical disk; elastic support members supporting the lens holder such that the lens holder can freely move in three driving directions, i.e., a tracking direction, a focusing direction, and a tilting direction; a pair of coil units attached to two sides of the lens holder, the two sides being spaced in a tangential direction orthogonal to the focusing direction and tracking direction; and a pair of magnets arranged to face the corresponding coil units. Each coil unit includes a tracking coil, a focusing coil, and a tilting coil for driving the lens holder in the three driving directions. The focusing coil and the tilting coil are formed by winding a focusing conductor of the focusing coil and a tilting conductor of the tilting coil together in parallel.

Optical pickup and optical disk apparatus

Disclosed herein is a light amount adjustment apparatus, including: a light amount adjustment member; a rotatable magnet formed in a disk shape; a driving arm configured to be pivoted by rotation of the magnet to operate the light amount adjustment member; a core having a pair of confronting portions positioned so as to sandwich the magnet from an outer circumference side and a connecting portion configured to connect end portions of the confronting portions to each other; a coil through which one of the portions of the core extends; and a base member having the core attached to the base member and supporting the magnet for rotation on the base member. The base member has a plurality of attaching projections provided at least at two places of the base member for attaching the core to the base member. The attaching projections have a small projection for fitting with the core.

In order to simplify operation control and achieve smaller-sized apparatuses, the present invention provides an object lens drive apparatus having a fixed block, a movable block holding an objective lens, support springs connecting the fixed block and the movable block, a focusing coil, tracking coils, a tilt coil, first magnets constituting a first magnetic circuit, and a second magnet constituting a second magnetic circuit and arranged in a state being inserted in the tilt coil. The objective lens and the second magnet are positioned separately in a direction orthogonal to both a focusing and tracking directions. The second magnet is polarized to an N pole and an S pole parallely in the tracking direction. Portions of the tilt coil opposed to each other in the tracking direction with the second magnet put therebetween are formed to be tilt drive portions moving the movable block in a tilt direction.

Optical pickup and disc drive apparatus

A biaxial actuator for an objective lens of an optical pickup that prevents the occurrence of tangential skew when the objective lens is moved in a focussing direction, and thereby improves optical performance. The actuator includes a lens holder that supports an objective lens , elastic supporting members each having one end fixed to the lens holder and the other end fixed to a fixed part The supporting members support the lens holder movably in a radial direction of a disc-form recording medium D and two directions intersecting orthogonally with this direction. The elastic supporting members are provided such that at least one pair on both sides of the objective lens are lined up in the optical axis direction of the objective lens. The pair of elastic supporting members have the spacing h1 of their fixing places on the lens holder side so set as to be narrower than the spacing h of their fixing places provided on the fixed part side. The elastic supporting members have expanding/contracting portions that elastically slightly expand and contract along the direction in which the elastic supporting members extend.

Actuator for an objective lens of an optical pickup for preventing skew of the optical axis

A lens moving apparatus of the present invention is used in an optical pickup of, for example, an optical recording/reproducing system. The apparatus includes a moving assembly holding an objective lens and provided with a coil bobbin, elastic supporting devices which support the moving assembly along the focusing dimension and the tracking dimension, focusing coils and tracking coils wound on the coil bobbin, and a magnetic circuit formed by a yoke and a magnet. The center of gravity of the moving assembly is positioned so that the product of the distance from an effective section of the focusing coil to the center of gravity of the moving assembly and the force produced at the effective section is about equal to the product of the distance from a noneffective section of the focusing coil to the center of gravity of the moving assembly and the force produced at the noneffective section.
