An inertial force sensor includes a detecting device which detects an inertial force, the detecting device having a first orthogonal arm and a supporting portion, the first orthogonal arm having a first arm and a second arm fixed in a substantially orthogonal direction, and the supporting portion supporting the first arm. The second arm has a folding portion. In this configuration, there is provided a small inertial force sensor which realizes detection of a plurality of different inertial forces and detection of inertial forces of a plurality of detection axes.

Angular velocity sensor

An inertial sensor includes oscillating-type angular velocity sensing element (), IC () for processing signals supplied from angular velocity sensing element (), capacitor () for processing signals, and package () for accommodating angular velocity sensing element (), IC (), capacitor (). Element () and IC () are housed in package () via a vibration isolator, which is formed of TAB tape (), plate () on which IC () is placed, where angular velocity sensing element () is layered on IC (), and outer frame () placed outside and separately from plate () and yet coupled to plate () via wiring pattern ().

Inertial force sensor

An inertial force sensor that can suppress fluctuation of detection sensitivity even if an external stress is applied to the inertial force sensor. Angular velocity sensor (), that is, an inertial force sensor includes ceramic substrate (), lower lid () adhering to ceramic substrate () with adhesives (and) (first adhesives), and sensor element () adhering to lower lid () with adhesives (and) (second adhesives). The elastic moduli of adhesives (and) are smaller than those of adhesives (and).

Angular velocity sensor for suppressing fluctuation of detection sensitivity

A composite sensor for detecting angular velocity and acceleration includes an angular velocity detecting element, an acceleration detecting element, an angular velocity signal processing IC, an acceleration signal processing IC, and a housing. The housing is formed of a multilayered circuit board and accommodates the angular velocity detecting element, the acceleration detecting element, the angular velocity signal processing IC, and the acceleration signal processing IC. The housing connects the angular velocity detecting element electrically to the angular velocity signal processing IC, and also connects the acceleration detecting element electrically to the acceleration signal processing IC.

Composite sensor for detecting angular velocity and acceleration

An information apparatus includes a housing, first and second strain detectors, and first and second stress collectors that transmit distortion applied to a side surface of the housing to the first and the second strain detectors, respectively. Upon having the same amount of distortion is applied to the side surface of the housing, the first and strain detectors outputs different values a processing circuit. This information apparatus has a small size and can be accurately controlled.

A sensor includes a circuit board, a wiring connection layer, a sensor element, and a conductive post. The circuit board has a first electrode. The wiring connection layer has second and third electrodes. The second electrode is connected to the first electrode. The sensor element has a fourth electrode. The conductive post connects the third electrode electrically with the fourth electrode. This sensor can be driven efficiently.

Sensor

An inertial force sensor includes a detector element, a supporting body supporting the detector element, and a case holding the detector element via the first supporting body. The supporting body has flexibility and has a plate shape. The detector element includes a weight, a flexible coupling portion extending along a plane and supporting the weight, a fixing portion holding the weight via the coupling portion, and a detector detecting angular velocities about at least two axes non-parallel to each other. The supporting body extends in parallel with the plane from the detector element, and bends at a bending portion in a direction away from the plane. This inertial force sensor can detect the angular velocities while preventing erroneous detection caused by external impacts and vibrations.

An inertial sensor includes oscillating-type angular velocity sensing element, IC for processing signals supplied from angular velocity sensing element, capacitor for processing signals, and package for accommodating angular velocity sensing element, IC, capacitor. Element and IC are housed in package via a vibration isolator, which is formed of TAB tape, plate on which IC is placed, where angular velocity sensing element is layered on IC, and outer frame placed outside and separately from plate and yet coupled to plate via wiring pattern.

Inertia force sensor

A piezoelectric device according to the present invention includes lead wires () each having one end electrically connected to a circuit pattern, and a piezoelectric oscillator () having terminals () electrically connected to the other ends of the lead wires (), wherein the piezoelectric oscillator () is retained in suspension by the other ends of the lead wires (), and a support member () is provided on surfaces () opposite to connecting surfaces () of the lead wires () connected to the piezoelectric oscillator () at the other ends thereof.
