A machine learning device is provided with: an input data obtaining unit that, in burnishing process in which a processing surface of an arbitrary workpiece is surface-treated with an arbitrary tool, obtains as input data processing information including information of the workpiece prior to the burnishing process and information of a processing condition; a label obtaining unit that obtains label data indicating processed state information including a processed state of the workpiece after the burnishing process and surface roughness of the workpiece when the processed state is normal; and a learning unit that carries out supervised learning using the input data and the label data thus obtained to generate a learned model to which processing information of an upcoming burnishing process is input and which outputs processed state information for the burnishing process.

The operator identification system is capable of managing the information required for authentication of operators centrally with high operation rate. The operator identification system includes a manufacturing cell including a manufacturing machine and a cell controller that can communicate with the manufacturing machine. Moreover, the state change management system converts the received event information items in the different forms into a standardized form, and outputs the event information items in the standardized form to a production planning device that performs production planning of a product manufactured by the manufacturing cell via the communication device.

Further, if an axis exceeding the movable distance is present, an axis movement is stopped by restricting a movement distance within a range not exceeding the movable distance.

The vector thus determined is further multiplied by a transformation matrix that includes a rotation instruction c for the C-axis and misalignments of the C-axis &#x3b4;ac(&#x3b1;c, &#x3b2;c, &#x3b3;c) to correct the misalignment of the C-axis, so that a tool length vector as found when the C-axis has rotated by an equivalent of instruction c is determined. The tool length vector thus determined is added to the vector of positional instruction values (x, y, z) and a workpiece origin offset vector Mwo, so that the machine position Vm' is obtained.

Information of a machine control means to be selected for each system is inputted through a manual input unit and then stored in a storage unit for storing a selection state of the machine control means through a machine control means selecting unit. If the time data command is read, the time then is stored as an execution time. Thus, it is possible to easily check the execution time of any program command.

A curve interpolation method capable of obtaining a curve approximating an original curve based on a sequence of command points within a tolerance set for the original curve, and performing interpolation on the obtained curve. Points Q , . . . , Q n are interpolated between respective two adjacent command points (P , P ), (P , P ), . . . , (Pn&minus;1, Pn) as shape-defining points. The shape-defining points are positioned within a tolerance width 2w set to the original curve. One shape-defining point and shape-defining points surrounding the one shape-defining point are successively selected and an approximate curve for the selected shape-defining points is successively created. The one shape-defining point is moved towards the approximate curve to determine a modified shape-defining point for the one shape-defining point. A smooth curve passing a sequence of the modified shape-defining points is created and interpolation for machining is performed on the created curve. Since the shape-defining points are positioned closer to an original target curve within a tolerance width set to the original curve than the command points, the created smooth curve passing the sequence of modified shape-defining points is well approximating the original target curve within the tolerance width.
