An olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer blended with other resins and rubbers is provided. The thermoplastic elastomer contains polypropylene resin and an olefin-based copolymer rubber, and optionally, a linear polyethylene resin, and the thermoplastic elastomer has been crosslinked to a gel content of 95% or higher. A polyolefin resin, an olefin-based copolymer rubber and a softening agent are further blended with optional inorganic filler to provide the olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer composition. This composition is excellent in oil resistance and extrudability, and well-adapted for use as an energy-saving, resources-saving elastomer in applications including surface or skin material in autoparts, industrial mechanical parts, electric and electronic parts, and construction materials.

Thermoplastic olefin elastomer composition

A composition suitable for slush molding is disclosed. The composition comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) having a number average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000 and mainly comprised of a diol component including an aromatic ring-containing diol and a non-aromatic diisocyanate; a plasticizer (B); and optionally an additive. The composition provides a molded article excellent in durability such as thermal/light aging resistance and chemical resistance, soft touch at low temperature, and appearance.

Polyurethane resin type composition for slush molding

A composition suitable for slush molding comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) having a number average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000 and a heat softening initiation temperature of 120 to 200&deg; C., a plasticizer (B), a compound (C) containing a radical polymerizable unsaturated group, and optionally an additive. The composition provides a molded article excellent in durability such as thermal/light aging resistance, soft touch at low temperature, and appearance.

A composition suitable for slush molding is disclosed. The composition comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) having a number average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000, a glass transition point of not higher than &minus;35&deg; C. and a heat softening initiation temperature of 100 to 160&deg; C.; a plasticizer (B); a blocked polyisocyanate (C); a pigment (D); and a blocking inhibitor (E) comprising a resin powder which is not heat-softened even at 160&deg; C. and has an average particle diameter of not more than 10 &mgr;m. The composition has a wide mold temperature range, and provides a molded article excellent in properties at low temperature, anti-fogging, thermal aging resistance and light aging resistance.

A composition suitable for slush molding is disclosed. The composition is mainly comprised of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) with a number average molecular weight of 20,000 to 50,000 and a glass transition point of not higher than -35.degree. C., a plasticizer (B), a blocked polyisocyanate (C) and a pigment (D), wherein each of(B), (C) and (D) is respectively contained in a prescribed quantities. The polyurethane-type slush molding composition provides a molded article of low hardness, high elongation at low temperature, and excellent thermal aging resistance and light aging resistance.

A vinyl chloride resin composition for powder molding containing 100 wt. parts of a granular vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree of between 1000 and 1200, 75 to 81 wt. parts of a trimellitate plasticizer, and 2 to 20 wt. parts of a fine powder vinyl chloride resin having an average polymerization degree of between 600 and 1000, which has excellent powder-dropping and melting properties, and can be readily powder molded to give molded articles having good elongation at low temperature and also very low glass-hazing properties.

A laminated structure comprising a laminated foamed sheet material composed of two cured foamed sheets each comprising a propylene-type polymer and an ethylene-type polymer and being laminated to each other through a substantially non-foamed or lowly foamed heat-fused layer, and non-foamed surface skin layers composed of a propylene-type polymer and laminated respectively to both surfaces of said laminated foamed sheet material, the ratio of the thickness Ts of each of said surface skin layer to the solid thickness Tf of each of the cured foamed sheets, Ts/Tf, being from 1 to 50, the thickness T1 of the heat-fused layer being 0.1 to 0.5 mm, and the thickness T1 being 1 to 25% of the thickness of each of the cured foamed sheets. The laminated structure can be produced by extrusion-laminating a non-foamed surface skin layer of a propylene-type polymer to one surface of each of two cured foamed sheets each comprising a propylene-type polymer and an ethylene-type polymer to thereby form two laminates, placing the two laminates such that the surfaces of the cured foamed sheets face each other, and melting and bonding the facing two surfaces to form a substantially non-foamed or lowly foamed heat-fused layer between the laminates.
