A copper-containing refrigerant pipe having an anticorrosive film, a heat exchanger, and a method for producing the refrigerant pipe are disclosed. The refrigerant pipe includes a pipe body including copper or a copper alloy and an anticorrosive film formed on the outer surface of the pipe body. The anticorrosive film is obtained by applying a coating agent to the outer surface of the pipe body. The coating agent contains one or more anticorrosive agents selected from the group consisting of (A) an organic sulfonate compound, (B) a polyhydric alcohol-organic acid ester compound, and (C) an aliphatic amine compound having 8 to 24 carbon atoms. When the coating agent includes an anticorrosive agent of (C) the aliphatic amine compound having 8 to 24 carbon atoms, (C) the aliphatic amine compound having 8 to 24 carbon atoms is included in an amount of 2.0 wt % or more and 10.0 wt % or less in the coating agent.

Disclosed herein is a method for determining the drug sensitivity of a microbe which comprises pouring a microbial suspension into each of the compartments or wells at a position which is in the vicinity of an electrode for measuring dissolved oxygen concentration, measuring current from each electrode at a second time interval for a third time period, each time is obtained based upon each of the measured currents at which the maximum current is obtained, obtaining each current value within a fourth time period which starts from the time at which the maximum current is obtained, detecting drug sensitivity based upon the variation condition of each current value during the fourth time period. The method allows rapid drug susceptibility measurements.

Drug sensitivity measuring method

A method and apparatus wherein measurement current values output from a first oxygen sensor and a second oxygen sensor are time sequentially measured. Each moving average value is calculated from each sequential measurement current value. Each time differential value is calculated from the pair of each calculated moving average values, by least squares approximation. Then, drug susceptibility is measured based upon each calculated time differential value, so that drug the susceptibility measurement is performed quickly or accurately.

Container for test substance

A concentration measuring apparatus includes an enzyme electrode which accelerates an oxidation reaction or a reduction reaction of a test substance in a liquid and outputs an electrical signal corresponding to a quantity of the test substance therefrom due to the reaction. The enzyme electrode is supplied with a reviving voltage for removing interfering substances on the enzyme electrode not only prior to concentration measuring but also according to a predetermined time interval. The reviving voltage has a polarity which is the reverse of the voltage used for concentration measurement.

Apparatus for maintaining the activity of an enzyme electrode

An enzyme electrode unit having, on the surfaces of the base electrodes thereof, an enzyme-immobilized membrane for oxidizing or reducing a target substance to be measured, and a diffusion-limiting membrane unit of a two-layer structure disposed on the surface of the enzyme-immobilized membrane, only the diffusion-limiting membrane having a lower target substance diffusion limiting effect being replaceable, thus maintaining substantially constant the general target substance diffusion limiting effect of the diffusion-limiting membrane unit, even after the replaceable diffusion-limiting membrane has been replaced.
