An ink-jet printer including a printing part that is provided with a plurality of printing heads and a distribution tank, a buffer tank, a heat exchanger, a manifold, a main flow pipe that successively connects the buffer tank, the heat exchanger and the manifold to one another, a sub-flow pipe that connects the manifold and the buffer tank with each other, a supply flow pipe for connecting the manifold and the printing part with each other, a collection flow pipe for connecting the printing part and the buffer tank with each other, and pumps respectively installed on the sub-flow pipe, the supply flow pipe and the collection flow pipe. The main flow pipe and the sub-flow pipe constitute a first circulation flow passage for circulating ink, and the main flow pipe, the supply flow pipe and the collection flow pipe constitute a second circulation flow passage for circulating the ink.

Ink-jet printer

An inkjet printer collects ink mist, and eliminates the necessity of frequent filter cleaning and replacement. Vents are on an upstream side in a conveying direction of a printing medium of the print heads of a printing part, blowout air volume of the respective vents can be adjusted, collection ports are on a downstream side in the conveying direction of the printing medium of the respective print heads, suction air volume of the collection ports can be adjusted, and an ink mist collecting parts are each provided which liquefies and collects ink mist contained in air sucked from any one of the collection ports while the air passes through filters. The blowout air volumes of the respective print heads and the suction air volumes are set to air volumes according to amounts of generated ink mist, and ink mist is collected according to differences in amounts of generated ink mist.

Inkjet printer

A compact ink drying apparatus is capable of drying ink ejected to a resin substrate. The ink drying apparatus has a hot air dryer, a hot air supplying part, and an exhausting part. The hot air dryer has a drying furnace, a substrate conveying path formed as a spirally shaped path in the drying furnace, and substrate drying ducts blowing hot air to a surface of a resin substrate on which ink is ejected conveyed along the substrate conveying path to heat ink and exhausting water vapor generated by heating of ink. The hot air supplying part is outside the drying furnace and supplies hot air into the substrate drying ducts, and the exhausting part is outside the drying furnace and exhausts air in the drying furnace through the substrate drying ducts.

To provide a printing device that can carry out a temperature adjustment of air in a simple manner and also provide superior energy efficiency, the present invention relates to a printing device 100 that is constituted by a printing part 5, a first air heater part 6a and a second air heater part 6b, as well as a control part 4, and each of the first air heater part 6a and the second air heater part 6b is constituted by at least one or more air heaters 6, and the control part 4 carries out a first control in which the first air heater part 6a is turned ON, while the second air heater part 6b is simultaneously turned OFF and a second control in which the first air heater part 6a is turned OFF, while the second air heater part 6b is simultaneously turned ON, with the first control and the second control being alternately switched in each fixed period.

Drying device and ink-jet printing device equipped with the same

An inkjet printer capable of suppressing temperature unevenness of a drying drum itself as much as possible having a printing part for applying ink to a medium before printing, a drying drum for heating and drying a medium after printing having the ink applied in contact with an outer circumferential face thereof, and a controller capable of individually controlling heating of a plurality of sections obtained by dividing the drying drum along a plane perpendicular to a shaft direction thereof. Each of the respective sections is mounted with a heater part capable of heating the corresponding section, and heating of the heater parts of all of the sections is continuously controlled individually by the controller.

A heating drum, which guides a long-sized medium and also heats and dries the medium, includes a cylinder-shaped main body part, disc-shaped limb parts attached to the end parts of the main body part, and a shaft core attached to the limb parts. On an edge of an inner circumferential surface of the main body part, a cut-out part extending in the circumferential direction is formed. A groove part also extending in the circumferential direction is formed on the inner circumferential surface on an inner side from the cut-out part of the main body part. The cut-out part and the groove part are in parallel with each other, and the limb part is fitted to the cut-out part. A claw part is fixed to the limb part by a fitting tool, so that a hook part of the claw part is freely movably fitted to the groove part.
