A magnetic-drive coupling pump configuration including an attachment/detachment mechanism allowing simple and reliable positioning and fixation is provided. Thrust-direction positioning and radial-direction positioning are achieved, respectively, by surface contact of a convex portion of a pump unit () inserted up to a predetermined position in a concave portion () of a drive motor unit (), and contact between an outer circumferential surface of the convex portion () and an inner circumferential surface of the concave portion (). A claw () protruding on the outer circumferential surface of the pump unit (), an engaging portion () protruding upward from an upper outer circumferential portion of the drive motor unit () to restrict, by engagement, claw upward movement when the pump unit () is rotated with the convex portion () inserted up to the predetermined position in the concave portion (), and a locking mechanism () holding the pump unit () at an engagement position of the claw () and the engaging portion () are included.

Pump configuration

A drive unit of a magnet coupling pump, in which leakage of the magnetic flux to the outside and the effect of the external magnetic field are suppressed. The drive unit includes: a driving magnet () positioned at an outside of the driven magnet () of the magnetic coupling pump () with respect to a rotation axis (A) of the magnetic coupling pump () to face the driven magnet () with a gap; a cup tube portion () made of a ferromagnetic material and in a tubular shape centered on the rotation axis (A); a case main body () including a cup () in which the driving magnet is fixed inside of the cup tube portion; a motor () rotating the cup around the rotation axis, and a tube portion (), which is tubular in shape. The cup is provided in the tube portion () with a gap.

Drive unit of magnetic coupling pump and magnetic coupling pump unit

In a magnetic coupling pump including a closed impeller, and a casing that houses the impeller in such a way that the impeller is rotatable around a rotation axis and movable in an axis direction in which the rotation axis extends, reduction in the rotational frequency of the impeller can be suppressed even if thrust balance collapses temporarily and the impeller and the casing come into contact with each other. A tapered surface () or () is formed in at least a portion of at least one of a surface () or () of the impeller () and a surface () or () of a pump casing () that faces each other in an axis direction (Da) so that the distance between both the faces varies gradually as it goes in a radial direction (Dr) perpendicular to the axis direction (Da).

Magnetic coupling pump and pump unit comprising the same

A sealless-type centrifugal pump includes a casing that forms a pump chamber having a liquid inflow port and an outflow port, an impeller disposed in the pump chamber and rotatably supported by a pivot bearing, and a magnetic coupling device including a driven permanent magnet built into the impeller and a driving magnet that rotationally drives the driven permanent magnet through a partition. The impeller supported in the direction of the rotation axis with respect to the casing is driven by the magnetic coupling device, and pressure is applied to liquid introduced from the direction of the rotation axis through the inflow port to send the liquid through the outflow port in a radial direction. The magnetic coupling device is disposed on a line inclined from an impeller rotating surface to the inflow port side toward the center of the rotation axis.

Centrifugal pump

A disposable centrifugal blood pump with magnetic coupling provides a centrifugal blood pump with magnetic coupling which is simple in structure of disposable parts with low cost. Therefore, a housing as the disposable part includes a rotor having pole faces extending on the outer-peripheral surface and projecting inward from the inner-peripheral surface and an impeller attached to the rotor, and a stator as a reusable part includes three or more electromagnets for electromagnetic coupling for forming a magnetic coupling between the stator and the rotor, a torque transmission disk formed by sandwiching a ring-shaped permanent magnet between two upper and lower ring members and having pole faces corresponding to the pole faces projecting from the inner-peripheral surface of the rotor formed to project for generating a magnetic coupling between stator and rotor, a motor for rotating the torque transmission disk, and a displacement gauge for measuring displacement of the rotor.

A crystal oscillating device comprises an outer case having a longitudinal axis, a cavity, a pair of first surfaces extending along the longitudinal axis, a pair of second surfaces extending in a direction generally transverse to the longitudinal axis, a first opening portion in one of the first surfaces for providing access into the cavity, a second opening portion in one of the second surfaces, and a groove in the other of the second surfaces. A crystal oscillator is disposed in the cavity of the outer case and has lead terminals extending through the second opening portion of the outer case for electrically connecting the crystal oscillator to a circuit board. A bonding material is disposed in the cavity of the outer case for bonding the crystal oscillator to the outer case. A connecting member is disposed in the groove of the outer case for connecting the outer case to the circuit board.

An apparatus actuates an objective lens in axial and circumferential directions through annular magnetic gaps which are formed by yokes and a magnet. In order to retain the objective lens in the neutral position in the circumferential direction, two or four magnetic pieces are mounted on a lens mount and disposed near the circumferetial ends of the annular magnetic gaps in which the force caused by the magnetic potential energy in the magnetic gaps acts on the magnetic pieces to pull them back in the direction of the magnetic gaps so that a magnetic spring for retaining the objective lens at the neutral position is formed by the magnetic pieces.

Apparatus for actuating objective lens

An objective lens apparatus for an optical disc player comprises an objective lens holder rotatable about a center axis, an objective lens carried by the holder at a location spaced from the center axis, an optical member, a magnetic flux generating member for generating magnetic flux, and tracking and focusing coils interacting with the magnetic flux for effecting tracking and focusing adjustments of the objective lens. The optical member rotates simultaneously with the lens holder and leads light which is incident along the center axis to the objective lens in a direction parallel to the center axis thereby eliminating optical modulation of the light caused by rotation of the lens holder in the tracking direction.

Objective lens apparatus

A picture display device has picture elements disposed in a line and row matrix for applying voltage to liquid crystal material to display a picture in accordance with picture signals applied thereto. The picture signals consist of gate signals sequentially applied to the picture elements along the row directions and video signals simultaneously applied to the picture elements along the line directions. A video signal detecting circuit detects the existence of the picture signals and produces a detection signal whenever the picture signals are temporarily absent for longer than a predetermined time period, and circuitry responds to the detection signal for inverting the polarity of the voltage applied to the liquid crystal material. The video signal detecting circuit may detect the presence of a horizontal or vertical synchronous signal of the video signal, or may compare the average voltage level of the video signal with a reference voltage level, to detect the presence of the picture signals. The inversion of the drive voltage polarity greatly prolongs the life of the liquid crystal and since the inversion is carried out during the time that the picture signals are temporarily interrupted, the inversion of the drive voltage polarity does not disturb the picture or cause picture flicker.

Picture display device

An active matrix type liquid crystal display device driven by a switching transistor array consists of a MOS-FET is disclosed. A common electrode opposite to picture element electrodes is divided in a line direction by the width equivalent to plural lines of the picture element electrodes. The poralities of video signals applied to the picture element electrodes and of the voltage of the common electrode are inverted in the line sequential.

A quartz crystal tuning fork resonator has a pair of vibratable arms vibratable in the flexural mode in response to excitation of driving electrodes positioned at both major surfaces and both side surfaces of each vibratable arm. The vibratable arms have a width w as measured in the widthwise direction of the major surfaces, a thickness t, and are spaced apart a distance s and the vibratable arms are dimensioned so as to satisfy the relationships s/t.gtoreq.1 and s/w.gtoreq.0.4. The resonator preferably has an overall length L.ltoreq.5 mm, an overall width W.ltoreq.1 mm and a thickness t&gt;50 and is formed by etching. The driving electrodes are configured to establish an electric field component directed parallel to the major surfaces to thereby drive the vibrating arms in the flexural mode.

Tuning fork type quartz resonator

In an electronic wristwatch having a watch body an a plurality of electronic vibrators having frequency-position characteristics, the frequency-temperature characteristic of the standard signal generated thereby is improved by positioning the vibrators in the watch body so that at least one vibrator has a different frequency-position characteristic than the other vibrators to compensate for any frequency deviation thereof due to the orientation of the watch body.
