A cover plate assembly for wall-mounted electrical wiring devices includes a plate frame disposed on a wall surface as surrounding a wall opening in the wall surface. The wall opening is provided to receive therein one or more electrical wiring devices such as switches. The plate frame has a window through which a portion of the wiring device extends outwardly. A face plate is placed over the plate frame to entirely conceal the same. The face plate is made from a plastic material and has a center opening through which a portion of the electrical wiring device is exposed to be accessible from outside of said face plate. Also included in the assembly is an under plate which is to be fixed with respect to the wall surface for holding said plate frame therebetween. The under plate is made from a flat metal stamping and secured to the rear of the face plate for reinforcement of the same.

A high-frequency cable connector for relaying coaxial cables led from two different sides to each other comprises a case body having a receptacle for a terminal plug of one of the cables, a holder for holding an inner contactor for contacting therewith the inner conductor of a cable within the case body, a conducting shield plate secured to the bottom of the case body while exposing part of the holder to the exterior, and a cap plate rotatably mounted to the shield plate and holding the other coaxial cable. The connector allows the two coaxial cables to be connected in an extremely simpler manner, the connector itself can be installed along with any other type or same type of wiring devices, and respective components can be assembled in a single direction so as to render efficient its mass production.

A coaxial cable connector a body of which has, on one surface, a receptacle including first and second terminal members for electric connection thereto of an end plug of a coaxial cable and, on other surfaces, means for mounting the connector, in common, to a generally used mounting frame for house wiring modules, to be contributive to simplification of house wiring works and prevention of any deterioration of the electric connection.
