A first output variable da/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of an output value from a first sensor (detecting unit) in the plural touch sensors disposed on the side close to first end (tip side) in the first direction. A second output variable dS/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of a sum of output values from second sensors (detecting units) disposed between a second end (heel side) and the first sensor in the first direction. The processor judges based on the first output variable da/dt and the second output variable dS/dt whether a tonging process should be performed.

A driving device includes: a power source circuit that converts inputted power to a constant voltage or constant current power, and outputs this converted power; a driver circuit that supplies the power outputted by the power source circuit to a load; and a control unit that receives the voltage or current of the power outputted by the power source circuit, calculates a value by multiplying a control gain by a difference of the detected value and a constant target value, and outputs a feedback signal based on this calculated value to the power source circuit, thereby performing feedback control on the power source circuit, the control unit raising the control gain when the voltage or current of the power outputted by the driver circuit is changed.

A driving device is provided with: a power circuit in which it is possible to modify an output current value of an output terminal configured to have a load connected thereto; an output capacitor connected between the output terminal of the power circuit and a reference potential node; a switching element connected between the output terminal of the power circuit and the reference potential node; and a control unit that controls the output current value of the power circuit. The control unit turns the switching element ON and OFF and controls the output current value of the power circuit during a period in which the switching element is ON such that the voltage of the output terminal of the power circuit during this period is equal to or lower than the voltage applied to the load during a period when this load is OFF.

A projection device comprises a light source, a color wheel which is inserted into an optical path of the light source and in which a plurality of color segments are formed along a peripheral direction of the color wheel. The color segments are configured to transmit a plurality of wavelength band components in the white light in a time division manner during a rotation of the color wheel. A light source driving unit alternating-current discharges the light source at a period shorter than a rotation period of the color wheel while reverses a polarity at a timing to switch the segment of the color wheel inserted into the optical path.
