The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rotation speed detection device which achieves improved detection accuracy regardless of a compressor and the operating state of the compressor, and enables the prevention of the breakage of a detection unit. A rotation speed detection device for a compressor, wherein a detection unit for detecting full blades and splitter blades that are blades approaching a compressor casing of the compressor in response to a change in the inductance of a magnetic field is provided. The detection unit is provided in an overlap region in which the full blades and the splitter blades that are all blades can be detected and the exposure pressure is in the range of a gauge pressure of one atmosphere or less.

The control device controls the first variable actuator () based on detection signals from the supercharging pressure sensor () and the first supercharger rotation sensor () and controls the second variable actuator () based on detection signals from the supercharging pressure sensor () and the second supercharger rotation sensor ().

Engine

Turbines and compressors, which constitute superchargers, are disposed in series on an exhaust gas passage and an air intake passage, respectively. The supercharger is equipped with a supercharger rotation sensor, which transmits a detection signal obtained according to the rotation of the compressor to a control device, a bypass passage, which bypasses exhaust gas from the upstream side to the downstream side of the turbine, and a bypass valve, which regulates the flow rate of exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage. Control device regulates the rotational speed of the compressors in a high-efficiency range by producing a control signal based on the detection signal from the supercharger rotation sensor, and sending the control signal to the bypass valve.

The control device () controls the variable actuator () based on detection signals from the supercharging pressure sensor () and the high-pressure supercharger rotation sensor ().
