A main object of the present disclosure is to provide an anode material that is used in a fluoride ion battery of a car and can prevent the decrease in operating voltage while inhibiting occurrence of short circuit. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a car including a fluoride ion battery, wherein the fluoride ion battery comprises a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer formed between the cathode layer and the anode layer. The anode layer contains an anode material comprising a Mg metal powder and a fluoride ion conductive material comprised of CaBaFin which x satisfies 0.5≤x≤0.60.

Anode material and fluoride ion battery

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel cathode active material that can be used in a fluoride ion battery. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a cathode active material used in a fluoride ion battery, the cathode active material comprising: a composition represented by PbMF, in which M is at least one of Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni.

Fluoride ion battery having cathod active material layer and anode active material layer generated via self-forming reaction of solid electrolyte layer

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel cathode active material that may be used for a fluoride ion battery. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a cathode active material used for a fluoride ion battery, comprising a composition represented by PbCuF, wherein 0&#x2264;x&#x3c;2.

An active material has a favorable capacity property. The active material is to be used for a fluoride ion battery, the active material including a crystal phase having a perovskite structure, and represented by ABOor a fluoride of the ABO, in which the A and the B are different metal elements; the A includes at least one kind of a metal element belonging to Group 2 and Group 3 in the periodic table; and the B includes at least one kind of a transition metal element belonging to Period 4 to Period 6 in the periodic table.

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a fluoride ion battery having a high charge-discharge potential. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a fluoride ion battery comprising a cathode active material layer, an anode active material layer, and an electrolyte layer formed between the cathode active material layer and the anode active material layer, and the cathode active material layer includes a cathode active material having a composition represented by CuS, wherein 1&#x2264;x&#x2264;2.

Fluoride ion battery

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a fluoride ion battery in which reduction decomposition of a solid electrolyte is inhibited. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a fluoride ion battery, comprising a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer formed between the cathode layer and the anode layer; wherein the anode layer contains an anode active material having a composition represented by LaSnF, in which 0.1&#x2264;x&#x2264;0.8; and the solid electrolyte layer contains a solid electrolyte including a crystal phase of a Tysonite structure.

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a cathode active material that is used in a fluoride ion battery and is capable of being charged and discharged at a high potential. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a cathode active material used in a fluoride ion battery, the cathode active material comprising: a Ce element, a S element, and a F element; and a composition represented by CeSF.
