A wireless base station apparatus includes an interference report receiver configured to receive interference reports transmitted on a shared radio resource from a plurality of wireless terminals that are present in a plurality of adjacent cells that are adjacent to a target cell, the shared radio resource being comprised of a plurality of carriers and being shared between the plurality of adjacent cells, and an adaptive fractional frequency reuse controller configured to control adaptive fractional frequency reuse processing in a downlink of the target cell, based on the received interference reports showing a downlink reception quality, wherein the interference reports are transmitted using selected carriers from the plurality of carriers by the plurality of wireless terminals, based on the downlink reception quality.

System and method to shorten the time taken to improve inter-cell interference mitigation performance using adaptive fractional frequency reuse

A base station, a mobile station and a retransmission control method for enabling communication to be more efficiently performed. In a communication system comprising a base station () and a mobile station (), a time period required for the retransmission of a transport packet to complete is determined, and a retransmission control is performed, based on the required time period, to change the order of executing the retransmission of the transport packet and a handover. In this way, when it is estimated that the retransmission will complete soon, the retransmission is caused to complete in a handover source system, thereby avoiding waste of communication resources used in the preceding transmission and retransmission processes. When it is estimated that the retransmission will continue for a while, the communication resources used in the preceding transmission and retransmission processes are wasted, but a more appropriate MCS can be assigned, in a handover destination system, so as to perform a retransmission, thereby enabling communication to be efficiently performed.

It is possible to provide a radio reception device, a radio transmission device, a radio reception method, and a radio transmission method which can improve the channel estimation accuracy and the reception quality. The radio reception device () includes: reception units () which receive a data sequence added by a reference signal for channel estimation of a spatial propagation path at a predetermined interval; demodulation units () which demodulate the data sequence; a channel estimation unit () which estimates a propagation path fluctuation state according to the reference signal in the data sequence and outputs a channel estimation value obtained by interpolating or extrapolating the data sequence; and a decoding processing unit () which decodes the data sequence by using the interpolated or extrapolated channel estimation value.

A mobile station device for selecting a TPC command to improve the transmission quality of a packet in an upstream circuit more reliably, so that it reduces the re-transmission in the upstream circuit to improve a sector throughput. In this mobile station device, a demodulate unit () outputs a received signal of each base station device to an error correction decode unit () and a TPC command select unit (). The error correction decode unit () outputs an ACK/NACK of each base station device to a data re-transmission control unit () and the TPC command select unit (). The TPC command select unit () selects the TPC command of the highest priority on the basis of the information of the ACK/NACK. A transmission power control unit () determines the transmission power according to the contents of the TPC command of the highest priority. Moreover, the transmission power control unit () determines the transmission power by an or-of-down method, in case a plurality of TPC commands of the highest priority are outputted from the TPC command select unit ().
