A lever-type connector includes a housing and a lever. The lever is pivotally mounted on the housing, and is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing, and locks the lever positioned at the fitting completion position. The housing is configured to be fitted to a mating housing by rotating the lever from a fitting start position to the fitting completion position. The housing has a pair of walls that are provided at both sides of the lock portion. Arm protection walls are provided on upper edges of the pair of walls respectively with extending inward so as to cover both sides of the flexible arm portion of the lock portion.

Lever-type connector

In the connector, a female beak of a female housing includes a climbing surface formed on an end part at a removing direction side, and a tip end projection that protrudes in a removing direction from an end part at an upper direction side of the climbing surface. A male beak of a male housing includes a climbed surface formed on an end part at an inserting direction side, and that comes into contact with the climbing surface in a fitting direction. After connection of a male terminal housed in the male housing with a female terminal housed in the female housing is started, a tip end projection faces the male beak in a vertical direction. After the tip end projection faces the male beak, the climbing surface comes into contact with the climbed surface.

A connector includes a housing and a lock arm that extends from the housing and is engageable with a counterpart connector. The lock arm includes a first arm a has a shape of a cantilever beam and has a locking hole for being engaged with the counterpart connector at a free end side of the first arm, and a second arm that extends from an end portion on the free end side of the first arm and is capable of releasing the engagement by bending the first arm around a fixing end of the first arm. The locking hole has a hole of which the size in a width direction orthogonal to an extending direction of the first arm becomes larger as a measurement position of the size of the hole gets closer to the free end from the fixing end.

Connector with a lock arm

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted and removed from a mating housing of a mating connector and a lever. The lever is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position of the lever. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing. Lever disengagement prevention portions are provided on both sides of the housing so as to cover at least respective parts of the side plates of the lever positioned at the fitting completion position from outside.

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted into a mating housing of a mating connector, and a lever that is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. The housing has a lever-protection wall, protruding outward beyond a pivotal outer peripheral end of the lever disposed at the temporary locking position, the lever-protection wall being provided at an end portion of the housing in a direction opposite to a rotational direction in which the lever rotates from the temporary locking position toward the fitting completion position. The lever disposed at the temporary locking position is arranged so that the operating portion of the lever overlaps the lever-protection wall.

A connector housing includes a housing body and a fitting operation lever that has a swinging portion attached to the housing body rotatably. A part of the rib protruding toward the swinging portion narrows an interval between a curved portion of the housing body and the swinging portion to a predetermined value or below. A part of the rib protruding toward a direction separating from a lower surface of the housing body has a flat face. A distance between the rotary axis of the swinging portion and the flat face is larger than a distance between the rotary axis and a part of an outer circumferential edge of the swinging portion.

Connector housing

A connector includes a lever drawing and fitting a first housing and a second housing by moving from a temporary lock position to a final lock position. The lever includes a lever-side lock portion elastically deformable in a first direction away from a surface of the first housing, and including a reinforcing rib that enhances rigidity against a deformation of the lever-side lock protrusion. The first housing includes a housing-side lock portion which locks the lever-side lock portion when the lever is in the temporary lock position, which inhibits movement of the lever to the final lock position during locking, and which permits the lever to move to the final lock position when the locking is released. The second housing includes a lock releasing portion which pushes the lever-side lock portion in the first direction so as to release the locking.

Connector

A connector includes a lever attachable to a first housing to draw and fit the first housing and a second housing by rotating around a rotating axis from a temporary lock position to a final lock position. The lever includes: a positioning portion including a pair of wall surfaces which extend toward the first housing and which are spaced at a predetermined distance from each other in a first direction parallel to the rotating axis; and a lever side lock portion. The first housing includes: a reception portion which receives the positioning portion so as to hold the pair of wall surfaces in the first direction; and a housing-side lock portion to which the lever-side lock portion is locked in a state in which the positioning portion has been received in the reception portion and when the lever is in the final lock position.

A lock structure of a connector includes a lock arm and a lock release arm which are provided in one connector housing of a pair of connector housings which are fitted into each other. The lock arm is engaged with a lock engagement part of the other connector housing to lock a fitting state between the connector housings when fitting between the connector housings is completed. The lock release arm is formed integrally with the lock arm and can deflect the lock arm in a lock release direction. The lock release arm is provided above the lock arm.

Lock structure of connector

An electric wire cover includes: a first electric wire cover including a wire arrangement space like a groove opened on one side, and attached to a wire lead-out end of a connector housing; and a second electric wire cover formed integrally with the first electric wire cover through a hinge portion, and covering the wire arrangement space. A guide groove is provided in one of the first and second electric wire covers, and extends in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the hinge portion. A rotation restriction rib is provided in the other electric wire cover and extends in the direction perpendicular to the rotation axis. The rotation restriction rib slides in the guide groove during rotating operation by the hinge portion so as to restrict rocking of the electric wire covers relative to each other.

Electric wire cover

An inner terminal () of the present invention includes a horizontal part (C) held in an insulator part () covered with an outer terminal () and a suspending part (D) extended in a direction substantially orthogonal to the horizontal part (C) and having a lower end part connected to a signal patter of a circuit board. In the suspending piece (C) as a part opposed to one pair of side surface pieces () suspended and extended in the outer terminal (), plate shaped impedance adjusting pieces () are integrally provided which respectively face the side surface pieces () with prescribed spaces held from the side surface pieces.

Connector for a circuit board

A shielded connector adapted to be connected to a terminal of a shielded electrical cable provided with an insulator, an outer conductor and a sheath around an inner conductor in this order includes an inner terminal that is connected to the inner conductor, an insulating member that covers the inner terminal, and an outer terminal that is connected to the outer conductor. The outer terminal includes a cylindrical-shaped shield portion that covers the insulating member, a crimping portion, and a connection portion that connects the shield portion with the crimping portion. The connection portion includes a bottom plate part and side wall parts erected from both sides of the bottom plate part, and the side wall parts have upper ends having a height equal to or larger than a center line of the outer terminal.

Shielded connector

A resin material can be prevented from flowing to a front end and a rear end of an inner terminal during an insert molding. Under a state that a hollow and tubular main body part () of an inner terminal () formed by covering one of two end parts of a rectangular piece with the other is held by metal molds (), () and (), the resin material is injected.

Insert molding method and inner terminal

An inner terminal is provided with a crimp barrel portion with which a terminal of a core wire is connected and an electric connecting portion to be electrically connected with a mating terminal. The inner terminal is received in an insulation inner housing. The inner housing is set into a terminal body portion. An outer terminal is provided with a shield member connecting portion with which a shield member is connected and a cylindrical portion in which the electric connecting portion of the inner terminal is positioned, the cylindrical portion mated with a mating connector. An impedance adjusting portion is provided between the electric connecting portion and the crimp barrel portion of the inner terminal.

Shield connector

A terminal structure includes an electrical cable that includes an inner conductor, an insulator provided around the inner conductor, a shield layer made of a metal foil around the insulator, and a sheath layer made of a resin tape around the shield layer, a shielded connector that is connected to a terminal of the electrical cable. The shielded connector includes an inner terminal connected to the inner conductor, an insulating member covering the inner terminal, an outer terminal covering the insulating member, and a pressing member for pressing the outer terminal against the shield layer. The outer terminal includes connecting pieces disposed along an outer circumference of the insulator. The pressing member is crimped around the shield layer so that the connecting pieces are pressed against and connected to the shield layer.
