An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit including a photosensitive drum, a housing configured to house the image forming unit, and a display operation panel located on an upper surface of the housing. The display operation panel includes a display panel including a display surface on an upper surface of the display panel, and a touch panel including a touch surface on an upper surface of the touch panel. The touch surface includes a first region overlapping the display surface, and a second region not overlapping the display surface. A front end edge of the display panel is located behind and above a front end edge of the touch panel such that the second region is located in front of and below the first region.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a first housing, an image reading unit including a reading sensor, a communication circuit board including a communication antenna capable of short-distance wireless communication, a second housing located above the first housing and accommodating the image reading unit and the communication circuit board, and an operation panel located in front of the second housing. The second housing includes a first side wall located at a rear of the operation panel, and a second side wall located at the rear of the operation panel. An inner surface of the first side wall is opposed to the communication circuit board. An outer surface of the first side-wall has a mark indicating a position to which a communication object is brought close.

A sheet conveying device includes a sheet-discharging roller, a sheet-discharge tray, a sheet-discharge stopper, and a stopper urging portion including a contact member and an urging member. The sheet-discharge stopper has a first surface and a second surface located on a back side of the first surface and is pivotable between a non-use state in which the second surface faces upward and a use state in which the first surface faces upward. The sheet-discharge stopper is pivotable, in the use state, between a first use position and a second use position at which a distal end is lowered from the first use position. The sheet-discharge stopper is in contact with the contact member in the use state, and an area, of the sheet-discharge stopper is located below the second surface in the non-use state.

Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus

The disclosure discloses a cutting apparatus including a movable blade and a guide device. The movable blade is configured to move along a sliding direction to a cutting position. The guide device includes an upper guide part including a contact part and a lower guide part including at least one guide surface. The contact part is disposed at a position separated from a first blade edge of the fixed blade by a first distance in the transport direction and by a second distance in an upper direction. The at least one guide surface that inclines in an inclination direction in which the at least one guide surface inclines downward at a predetermined angle toward a downstream in the transport direction and is disposed to have an interval of a third distance against the contact part in a direction orthogonal to the inclination direction.

Cutting apparatus and printer

The disclosure discloses a cutting apparatus including a feeder, a fixed blade, a movable blade, and at least one scraping-off device. The movable blade is configured to slide in a sliding direction crossing a transport direction against the fixed blade and is configured to move along the sliding direction from a standby position on one side to a cutting position on the other side and to cut the print-receiving medium fed by the feeder. The at least one scraping-off device is disposed in proximity to the movable blade and is configured to come into contact from the other side with an adhesive that has adhered to the movable blade and scrape off the adhesive when the movable blade moves from the standby position on the one side to the cutting position on the other side.

A roll holding apparatus includes a pair of holding members and an advancing/retracting support device. The pair of holding members is configured to be inserted into an inner periphery of a print-receiving paper roll. The pair of holding members is configured to rotatably support the print-receiving paper roll. The advancing/retracting support device is configured to support the holding member to switch an advancing/retracting state of the holding member into a first state, second state, or a third state. A tip end portion of the holding member protrudes to a first position in the first state. The tip end portion lies inward along an axial direction of the print-receiving paper roll than the first position in the second state. The tip end portion lies outward along the axial direction from the first position in the third state.

Roll holding apparatus

A printing device includes: a printing mechanism; a housing having a casing and a cover; a first frame member; a second frame member; an engaging member; and an abutting part. The first frame member supports the printing mechanism. The second frame member supports the printing medium. The second frame member is juxtaposed with the first frame member in a first direction. The engaging member is supported to the first frame member. The engaging member is movable between a first position in engagement with the cover and a second position out of engagement with the cover. The abutting part is provided at at least one of the first frame member and the second frame member. The abutting part avoids direct contact between the engaging member in the first position and the second frame member when the second frame member is deformed and contacts the first frame member through the abutting part.

A printing device includes a platen roller, a pair of bearings, and a holder including a pair of fitting portions to which the bearings are fitted. The bearings rotatably support a rotational shaft of the platen roller. Each bearing includes a small-diameter portion, a large-diameter portion coaxially connected to the small-diameter portion, and a protrusion provided at an outer circumferential surface of the small-diameter portion. The larger-diameter portion has a peripheral surface and an end face connecting the peripheral surface to the outer circumferential surface. Each fitting portion includes: a receiving portion configured to receive the small-diameter portion; an opening to which the protrusion is fitted; and a receiving surface configured to contact the end face of the large-diameter portion from outward in an axial direction of the rotational shaft. Printing device including holder supporting platen roller through bearings

A printing equipment housing box includes an equipment housing portion, an outer wall, and a cover. The equipment housing portion houses printing equipment. The outer wall includes a paper discharge port penetrating through the outer wall. The paper discharge port discharges, to the outside of the printing equipment housing box, a medium printed by the printing equipment in the equipment housing portion, The through hole extends in a first direction. The cover is provided between the outer wall and the equipment housing portion. The cover moves in a gap between the outer wall and the equipment housing portion in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The cover moves between a closed position and an open position along the inner side of the outer wall. The cover closes the paper discharge port in the closed position and the cover opens the paper discharge port in the open position.

Printing equipment housing box

A printing equipment housing box includes an equipment housing portion, an outer wall, a cover, a handle, a holding member, and a button. The equipment housing portion houses printing equipment. The outer wall includes a paper discharge port penetrating through the outer wall. The cover is provided between the outer wall and the equipment housing portion, and moves along the outer wall to close the paper discharge port in the closed position and to open the paper discharge port in the open position. The handle is provided on the cover and protrudes further to the outside than the outer wall. The holding member holds the cover in the open position. The button is connected to the holding member and is provided to be aligned with the handle along the outer wall. The button moves between a first position and a second position in a direction orthogonal to the outer wall.

A first roller is supported by the lid portion such that it can rotate. A second roller is provided such that it peels a label off of a release paper by nipping the release paper against the first roller. An elastic member is provided such that it switches a peeling mechanism from a first state to a second state. A moving portion is provided such that it switches the peeling mechanism from a second state to a third state by separating from a projecting portion in an open state and coming into contact with the projecting portion in a closed state. A first restricting portion is provided such that, when the peeling mechanism is in a fourth state, by coming into contact with the projecting portion and restricting the projecting portion from moving, it restricts the peeling mechanism from switching from the fourth state to the third state.
