A wireless communication apparatus mounted on a mobile body includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is configured to transmit position information indicating a position to which the mobile body is scheduled to move, to a server apparatus. The receiver is configured to receive communication quality information indicating a communication quality corresponding to the position, from the server apparatus. The transmitter is configured to transmit the date at a communication position specified based on the communication quality information.

Wireless communication apparatus and server apparatus

A remote control apparatus uses wireless communication to control driving of a control object such as a vehicle. When the drive condition is changing, as when the vehicle is being steered to follow a curve in a travel route, while also the vehicle speed exceeds a specified threshold value, processing is executed for reducing a communication delay between the remote control apparatus and the control object, to thereby ensure sufficient speed of control response.

Antenna device

An antenna device includes a ground plate providing a ground potential, a first feeding part and a second feeding part provided to the ground plate, a vertical antenna element electrically connected to the first feeding part, spaced apart from a first surface of the ground plate, and configured to emit a radio wave having a polarization plane in a direction perpendicular to the ground plate, a horizontal antenna element electrically connected to the second feeding part, arranged in parallel with the ground plate, and configured to emit a radio wave having a polarization plane in a direction parallel to the ground plate, and an antenna base disposed on a second surface of the ground plate, and facing the ground plate and the horizontal antenna element. In the antenna base, at least a portion facing the horizontal antenna element is a dielectric.

A communication control part includes a delivered value storing part, a replacement value storing part and a set value changing part in addition to a retransmission BSR timer. The delivered value storing part stores a delivered value delivered from a radio base station as a timer set value for the retransmission BSR timer. The replacement value storing part stores a replacement value, which is to be applied as the timer set value as a substitute of the delivered value. The set value changing part Fsets the delivered value as the timer set value when data is not present in a LCG buffer, which corresponds to a particular application. The set value changing part sets the replacement value as the timer set value when data is present in the LCG buffer, which corresponds to the particular application.

Communication device

An inter-vehicle communication device that is connected to a wide-area communication terminal determines a dedicated short-range communication resource assignment by using a wide-area communication resource assignment that is assigned to the wide-area communication terminal. Since a plurality of terminals are not assigned to the same resource block in the wide-area communication resource assignment, the dedicated short-range communication resource assignment determined by using the wide-area wireless communication resource assignment can also prevent a plurality of terminals from being assigned to the same time slot. The wide-area communication resource assignment is essentially necessary for the communication between a base station communication device and the terminals. Since the wide-area communication resource assignment which is necessary is used to determine the dedicated short-range communication resource assignment, a limit to the amount of downlink data can be reduced.

Inter-vehicle communication system and inter-vehicle communication device

In a communication control apparatus wirelessly communicable with a plurality of wireless communication units respectively installed in a plurality of vehicles, a first determiner determines at least one wireless communication unit in a number of wireless communication units in the plurality of wireless communication units as a first enabling unit that enables wireless communications with the communication control apparatus if information transmitted from the at least one wireless communication unit is second type information including a piece of vehicle information that includes at least the identifier of the corresponding vehicle. A second determiner determines a wireless communication unit in the remaining one or more wireless communication units as a second enabling unit, which enables wireless communications with the communication control apparatus, if information transmitted from the wireless communication unit is not included in the information transmitted from the first enabling unit.
