In a photosensitive conductive paste containing photosensitive organic components, conductor powder, and quartz powder, melting of the quartz powder does not occur or is very unlikely to occur in a heat treatment step, and in the heat treatment step, it functions sufficiently to bring shrinkage rates and shrinkage behaviors of both of a conductor layer and an element body layer closer to each other when they shrink, and thus generation of voids can be inhibited when it is used for manufacturing a laminated coil component.

Photosensitive conductive paste, laminated electronic component, and method of manufacturing laminated electronic component

An electronic component includes a glass ceramic layer and a conductor layer. The glass ceramic layer includes feldspar crystal phases, non-crystalline glass phases, and AlOphases. The area ratio of the feldspar crystal phases in the vicinity of the conductor layer is larger than the area ratio of the feldspar crystal phases away from the conductor layer.

A method for producing a multilayer coil component includes forming, on a main face of a substrate, a first coil conductor extending along the main face having conductivity, forming a second coil conductor and a third coil conductor apart from each other in a direction in which the first coil conductor extends and each extending from the first coil conductor in a first direction orthogonal to the main face, and forming a fourth coil conductor electrically connected to an end of the second coil conductor opposite to the first coil conductor and extending along the main face. The forming the first coil conductor includes forming, on the main face, a first insulator layer provided with a first penetration portion having a shape corresponding to the first coil conductor and exposing a part of the main face, and forming, by plating, the first coil conductor in the first penetration portion.

Method for producing multilayer coil component

An ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) protection component has: first and second discharge electrodes arranged so as to be opposed to each other through a gap; and a discharge inducing portion kept in contact with the first and second discharge electrodes and configured to connect the first and second discharge electrodes to each other. The discharge inducing portion has metal particles, a ceramic material containing glass, and a dielectric material having a dielectric constant higher than that of the ceramic material. A content of the dielectric material is in the range of 7.5 to 40% by volume, with respect to a total volume of the ceramic material and the dielectric material.

ESD protection component

An ESD suppressor is configured including first and second discharge electrodes arranged as separated from each other, and a discharge inducing portion kept in contact with the first and second discharge electrodes so as to connect mutually opposed portions of the first and second discharge electrodes to each other. The discharge inducing portion contains metal particles. The first and second discharge electrodes are located on the coil side with respect to the discharge inducing portion when viewed in a stack direction of a plurality of insulator layers. An element body has a cavity portion located so as to cover the whole of the discharge inducing portion when viewed in the stack direction from the coil side. The cavity portion is in contact with the mutually opposed portions of the first and second discharge electrodes and with the discharge inducing portion.

ESD protection component and method for manufacturing ESD protection component

An electrostatic protection component includes: a body in which a plurality of ceramic substrates is laminated; and a pair of discharge electrodes which are formed within the body and which are spaced to face each other. The discharge electrodes include main body portions extending along a longitudinal direction, and the main body portions include tips in the longitudinal direction and side edges extending along the longitudinal direction. The pair of discharge electrodes are arranged such that both the main body portions are adjacent to each other in a short direction. The discharge electrodes face each other in the short direction between the side edges, and discharge occurs only between the side edges, between the discharge electrodes.

Electrostatic protection component

A ferrite magnetic material comprising a main phase of W-type is provided which has magnetic properties improved through the optimization of additives. The ferrite magnetic material comprises a main constituent having a compound represented by composition formula AFeFeO(wherein A comprises at least one element selected from Sr, Ba and Pb; 1.5&#x2266;a&#x2266;2.1; and 12.9&#x2266;b&#x2266;16.3), a first additive containing a Ca constituent (0.3 to 3.0 wt % in terms of CaCO) and/or a Si constituent (0.2 to 1.4 wt % in terms of SiO), and a second additive containing at least one of an Al constituent (0.01 to 1.5 wt % in terms of AlO), a W constituent (0.01 to 0.6 wt % in terms of WO), a Ce constituent (0.001 to 0.6 wt % in terms of CeO), a Mo constituent (0.001 to 0.16 wt % in terms of MoO), and a Ga constituent (0.001 to 15 wt % in terms of GaO).

Ferrite magnetic material and ferrite sintered magnet

There can be provided an NiCuZn-based ferrite material containing an iron oxide, a copper oxide, zinc oxide and a nickel oxide in predetermined amounts as main components and a bismuth oxide, a silicon oxide, magnesium oxide and a cobalt oxide in predetermined amounts as additional components. Due to the predetermined amounts of the additional components, the ferrite material has an extremely good temperature characteristic (a change in permeability along with a change in temperature is small), a high quality coefficient Q and high strength.

Ferrite material

There is provided a sintered body at least 80% of which is constituted of a Y-type hexagonal ferrite. The sintered body contains, as main components, a cobalt oxide, a copper oxide, an iron oxide and AO (AO is at least one of BaO or SrO) in predetermined amounts in mol %, more preferably contains MO (MO is at least one of NiO, ZnO or MgO) in a predetermined amount in mol % in addition to the above components, and also contains, as additional components, bismuth oxide (Bi O ), borosilicate glass, borosilicate zinc glass or bismuth glass in predetermined amounts in wt %. Thus, a sintered body which exhibits good magnetic properties and is usable up to a high frequency band ranging from several hundred megahertz to gigahertz, contains as few hetero phases other than a Y-type hexagonal ferrite as possible and can be calcined at a temperature of not higher than 1,000&deg; C., particularly about 900&deg; C., and a high-frequency circuit component using the sintered body can be provided.

Sintered body and high-frequency circuit component

The present invention can provide a MgCuZn-based ferrite sintered compact which is constituted by having as substantial main component compositions 7.5 to 23.0 mole % of magnesium oxide, 7.0 to 20.0 mole % of copper oxide, 19.0 to 24.2 mole % of zinc oxide and 48.5 to 50.3 mole % of ferric oxide, and the average particle diameter of the ferrite sintered compact is in a range of 1.10 to 7.30 &mgr;m while the standard deviation &sgr; of the size distribution is in a range of 0.60 to 10.00, resulting in the ferrite sintered compact which has a high impedance with a frequency of not less than 50 MHz and is capable of efficiently cutting of radiant noise by selecting inexpensive materials.
