A work machine includes: a work device; an operation device operating the work device; a first controller controlling operation of the work device on the basis of operation of the operation device; and a second controller determining that an auto idle condition is satisfied and performing auto idle control that decreases an engine revolution speed to an idle revolution speed in case the operation device is not operated for a predetermined time. The first controller diagnoses presence or absence of a failure in the first controller when supply of power to the first controller is started. The second controller performs power interruption control that interrupts the supply of the power to the first controller in case the auto idle condition is satisfied, and performs power supply control that starts the supply of the power to the first controller afterward.

A hydraulic excavator includes a plurality of cameras that are attached to an upper swing structure and photograph images of surroundings, a controller configured to detect an obstacle present around the upper swing structure on the basis of the camera images, and a speaker that makes a notification that the obstacle is detected when the controller detects the obstacle. When a lock lever is at a lock release position and control levers are maintained in a non-operating state from a time of a start of the controller, the controller permits the notification by the speaker. When the lock lever is at the lock release position and the control levers are changed from an operating state to a non-operating state, the controller permits the notification by the speaker when the non-operating state is continued for a predetermined time or more.

A safety device for a construction machine includes a status information acquisition section that acquires status information pertaining to the status of the construction machine, a seat belt detection section that detects whether an operator is wearing a seat belt, and a control section that controls a warning section so that a warning is given on the basis of the status information when the operator is not wearing the seat belt, in which the status information includes information pertaining to the operation position of a gate lock lever that is manipulated to a lock position in which instructions from operating levers of the construction machine are disabled and a lock release position in which instructions from the operating levers are enabled, and the control section controls the warning section so that a warning is given when the gate lock lever operation position is at the lock release position.

Safety device for a construction machine

A relief pressure control system is provided with a controller for outputting, responsive to an adjustment signal output from a dial switch, a control signal to control a relief pressure of a variable solenoid relief valve, a display unit for displaying, responsive to display signals outputted from the controller, a relationship between a circuit pressure output from a pressure sensor and a pressure required by a hydraulic cylinder, and a control device constituting a start instruction unit for instructing a start of control of the variable solenoid relief valve. A hydraulic drive system for a hydraulic working machine sets a delivery pressure at a preset value upon raising a temperature of exhaust gas to a temperature needed for combustion of particulate matter by increasing a load to be applied to an engine. In a non-operation state, a variable restrictor is controlled by a controller and a delivery pressure control valve to increase a delivery pressure of a variable displacement hydraulic pump, so that the load is increased to raise the temperature of exhaust gas to the temperature needed for the particulate matter combustion. At this time, the controller controls the delivery pressure control valve such that a delivery pressure to be detected by a delivery pressure sensor will conform with a preset reference delivery pressure.
