A pattern forming method capable of easily removing a discontinuous portion in a pattern while keeping resistance of the pattern low. A pattern forming method including at least a printing step of printing a pattern intermediate containing a conductive material on a base material, and a plating step of subjecting the pattern intermediate to an electroplating treatment, in which the pattern intermediate printed in the printing step has a plating target portion that is energized in the plating step and a discontinuous portion that is discontinuously formed from the plating target portion and is not energized in the plating step, and in the plating step, by performing an electric field plating treatment using a plating solution containing at least two or more types of metal salts containing different types of metals and a complexing agent, the discontinuous portion of the pattern intermediate is removed to form a pattern constituted by the plating target portion covered with a plating film.

An inkjet ink which comprises water, a pigment, a water-soluble resin, a water-soluble or Panic solvent and a surfactant, characterized in that: the water-soluble resin comprises a water-soluble resin consisting of a copolymer resin which has an acid value of 50 to 130 mgKOH/g, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 30 to 100&#xb0; C., and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 20,000 to 80,000, said copolymer resin being a resin which is synthesized from a monomer component that comprises methyl methacrylate, an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, and an acid monomer and in which the total mass of methyl methacrylate and the alkyl acrylate or methacrylate is 80 to 95% relative to the total mass of all of the monomers constituting the copolymer resin; and the surfactant comprises a fluorochemical surfactant and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether.

Inkjet ink and inkjet recording method

An ink-jet recording ink which is utilized for printing on a heated recording medium, wherein the ink contains at least (1) a pigment, (2) an ink-soluble resin of 2-10 weight % based on a solid content, (3) a water-soluble organic solvent, and (4) a silicone type or a fluorine type surfactant, and the ink-soluble resin and the water-soluble organic solvent satisfy the following conditions: 1) at least one type of the ink-soluble resin is provided with a carboxyl group as an acid group, and an acid value of not less than 80 and less than 300, and 2) the water-soluble organic solvent contains at least 5-15 weight % of solvent A, and 2-15 weight % of solvent B; solvent A: a glycol ether or 1,2-alkanediols, and solvent B: a cyclic solvent, a cyclic ester solvent or a dimethyl sulfoxide, containing a nitrogen or a sulfur atom.

Water-based ink-jet recording ink

Provided is an inkjet ink including at least water, a pigment, a resin, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a surfactant, wherein the resin consist of a copolymer resin synthesized from only a (meth)acrylic monomers, and the copolymer resin has an acid value of not less than 50 mgKOH/g and not more than 200 mgKOH/g, a glass transition temperature (Tg) not less than 20 and not more than 100&#xb0; C., and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) not less than 20,000 and not more than 100,000, and as a result, a high-quality image is formed in that abrasion resistance and adhesiveness on a non-absorptive recording medium are high, glossiness is high, and there is no ink mixing, and ejection performance is good and recovery through maintenance is excellent. This inkjet ink comprises at least a) a pigment, b) a polymer dispersant comprising polyethylene oxide groups having an acid value of less than 50 mgKOH/g (c) acrylic copolymer resin, and (d) at least one water-soluble organic solvent selected from glycol ethers and 1,2-alkanediols having 4 or more carbons.
