A connector for a medical instrument connected to an external device for medical use is provided, and the connector for a medical instrument includes a plug portion in which electric contact point portions are placed, outer sheath cases connectively provided at the plug portion, a sub frame member interposed between the plug portion and the outer sheath cases, and having a flange portion, and a main frame member housed in the outer sheath cases and fixed to the sub frame member, wherein the plug portion and the outer sheath cases are butted against the flange portion by different fixing members respectively, and are compressed and fixed to the sub frame member.

Connector for medical instrument

An endoscope includes: a treatment instrument elevator base including a contact surface which contacts with a treatment instrument inserted into a treatment instrument insertion channel, and rotatably provided to a distal end to elevate the instrument; a contact portion provided to the distal end to contact with the instrument when the elevator base is elevated; a first leading portion provided to the contact surface to lead the instrument to a predetermined position on the contact surface as the elevator base is rotated; a holding portion provided to the contact surface and the contact portion, and including a grasping surface for sandwiching the instrument with a diameter not exceeding a predetermined value; and a second leading portion provided to the contact portion to lead the instrument larger than the grasping surface away from the holding portion.

Endoscope

An endoscopic insertion aid includes a tube member, a pipeline and a plurality of balloons. The tube member allows an insertion section of an endoscope to be inserted therethrough, and guides the longitudinal movement of the insertion section. The pipeline is provided in the tube member, and communicates with a supply/discharge unit to supply a fluid to or discharge the fluid from the distal end of the tube member. The balloons are disposed on the outer periphery of the distal end of the tube member longitudinally along the tube member, communicate with the pipeline, and inflate/deflate in accordance with the supply/discharge of the fluid via the pipeline. The balloon disposed on the distal side of the tube member is inflated to have an outside diameter larger than that of the balloon disposed closer to the proximal side than the balloon disposed on the distal side when the balloons are inflated.

Endoscopic insertion aid, endoscopic system, and method of inserting insertion portion of endoscope into body cavity by use of endoscopic insertion aid

An endoscope electric connection device accommodated within a scope connector for connecting an electronic endoscope and an external apparatus, the device including a first band having a first contact portion to which a signal line of a transmission cable for transmitting an image signal from an image pickup unit of the electronic endoscope is connected and a second contact portion to which a ground line of the transmission cable is connected, a second band having a third contact portion connecting to a connector for electrically connecting to the external apparatus and having flexibility, and a transmitting portion provided in the first band and second band for electrically connecting the first contact portion and second contact portion to the third contact portion, wherein the transmitting portion can keep electric connection between the first contact portion and second contact portion and the third contact portion even with the second band bent.

Endoscope electric connection device

A method of performing treatment on a desired part of a cavity includes use of an endoscope having a guide wire, a therapeutic instrument and a therapeutic instrument elevator base capable of guiding the instrument to a desired position. The guide wire is inserted into an insertion channel of the endoscope and located in a desired position in the cavity. The instrument is moved from a position in the cavity to a position closer to the operation portion of the endoscope than to the distal end of the endoscope. While a guide wire fixing means at the distal end of the endoscope fixes the guide wire, the instrument is completely pulled out from the instrument channel of the endoscope.

Method of using a guide wire, therapeutic instrument and endoscope

An adapter for an endoscope of the present invention includes: a locking device for attaching and detaching that attaches and locks this adapter for an endoscope onto a predefined position on an endoscope control part; and a first treatment tool locking device that keeps a treatment tool at a first predefined position. Furthermore, at the first predefined position, a guidewire entry aperture of the treatment tool and an entry aperture of a forceps plug are separated in such a way as to face each other along substantially the same line.

Adapter for endoscope and endoscope

Guide wire fixing means is provided for an insertion portion of an endoscope, and a guide wire is releasably engaged when inserting/removing a therapeutic instrument running on the guide wire with a distal end portion of the guide wire inserted into a therapeutic instrument insertion channel of the endoscope being led out from a distal end opening portion of the channel.

A medical treatment method comprises orally inserting a first endoscope having a first treatment tool provided thereto into a body cavity, inserting a first insertion member insertion support tool from at least one of abdominal and transdermal cavities into the body cavity, inserting a second endoscope having a second treatment tool provided thereto into the body cavity through the first insertion member insertion support tool, grasping a lesioned part by the second treatment tool inserted into the body cavity by the second endoscope, cutting the lesioned part by the first treatment tool inserted into the body cavity by the first endoscope, and collecting the lesioned part.

Medical treatment method and apparatus

An endoscope includes an insertion section inserted into the body cavity and a probe provided inside the insertion section for detecting the form of the endoscope. The probe includes a plurality of coil portions arranged in the longitudinal direction of the insertion section of the endoscope and a wire electrically connecting the coil portions. The coil portions and the wire are covered with a flexible member. And the outer diameter of the covered wire is smaller than the outer diameter of the covered coil portions.
