A smoke detection device main body of a portable smoke detector can switch smoke detection sensitivity. At the start of operation, the smoke detection sensitivity of the portable smoke detector is equal to or higher than a smoke detection sensitivity of a fixed smoke detector that detects smoke in a monitoring area. At this time, switching of smoke detection sensitivity does not work. After the fixed smoke detector detects smoke generation, when the portable smoke detector is used to locate the smoke generation position while moving in the monitoring area, an operation is performed from an initial sensitivity. When a predetermined smoke detection signal is detected while using the portable smoke detector to identify the smoke generation position, the smoke detection sensitivity switching is activated, and the smoke detection sensitivity is changed accordingly. By lowering the smoke detection sensitivity, the smoke generation position is narrowed down and identified.

Portable smoke detector and method for identifying smoke generation position

To provide a scattered light-type smoke detection apparatus in which internally scattered light in a smoke detection space can be suppressed to improve the S/N ratio. A scattered light-type smoke detection apparatus includes: a smoke detection space that is provided in a light-shielded area that is light-shielded from the outside, into which smoke particles flow from the outside; a light emitter for emitting detection light toward the smoke detection space; and a light receiver for receiving scattered light caused by detection light emitted by the light emitter and scattered by smoke particles flowing into the smoke detection space, wherein the scattered light-type smoke detection apparatus includes an internally scattered light suppressing means for transmitting and guiding part or the whole of detection light emitted by the light emitter and passing through the smoke detection space to a predetermined area or the outside of the light-shielded area to suppress internally scattered light within the light-shielded area.

Scattered light-type smoke detection apparatus

An interlocking source alarm output processing unit outputs alarm indicating an interlocking source and transmits event signal indicating the abnormality to other alarm device. An interlocking destination alarm output processing unit outputs alarm indicating an interlocking destination. An interlocking source alarm stop processing unit transmits the event signal and stops an output of the alarm, upon detecting an operation to an alarm stopping unit while outputting the alarm indicating the interlock source. An interlocking destination alarm stop processing unit stops an output of the alarm indicating the interlocking destination and transmits the event signal for stopping the alarm, when an operation to the alarm stopping unit is detected while outputting the alarm indicating the interlocking destination, while the interlocking destination alarm stop processing unit stops an output of the alarm indicating the interlocking destination, when the event signal from the other alarm device is received.

Alarm device

An alarm comprising: a transmission reception circuit unit transmitting and receiving an event signal with an other alarm; a sensor unit detecting an abnormality; an alerting unit outputting an abnormality warning; an abnormality monitoring unit receiving an abnormality detection signal from the sensor unit, while outputting the abnormality warning of a coordination source, and transmitting to the other alarm the event signal indicating an abnormality, meanwhile, outputting the abnormality warning of a coordination end when the event signal indicating an abnormality is received from the other alarm; and an inspection processing unit transmitting to the other alarm an event signal indicating a self inspection result, and, when an event signal indicating an inspection result is received from the other alarm, reporting an inspection result of a plurality of alarms in coordinated relation.

Alarm

An alarm device includes: a wireless circuit section which wirelessly exchanges event signals with an other alarm device; an alert section which outputs an alarm; an operation section which accepts predetermined operations; a sensor section which issues an abnormal condition detection signal when an abnormal condition occurred is detected within a monitoring area; an abnormal condition monitoring section which, upon receiving the abnormal condition detection signal from the sensor section, outputs an abnormal condition alarm as a linkage source from the alert section, and transmits an event signal indicating an abnormal condition to the other alarm devices, and conversely, upon receiving an event signal indicating an abnormal condition from the other alarm device, outputs an abnormal condition alarm as a linkage destination from the alert section; a communication test transmission processing section which, at a predetermined timing, transmits an event signal indicating a communication test to the other alarm device and; a communication test reception processing section which, upon receiving an event signal indicating a communication test from the other alarm device, announces the reception status of this event signal.

A light scattering type smoke sensor comprising a holder with openings embedded with light emitting part and light detecting part respectively, which do not protrude into the smoke detection chamber. The optical axis of light emitting part intersects at a predetermined first angle &#x3b1; in the horizontal direction with the optical axis of the light detecting part at a predetermined second angle &#x3b2; in the vertical direction. The optical axis of the light emitting part and optical axis of the light detecting part further comprise a configuration angle &#x3b4; in the range of 90&#x2dc;120 degrees used as the supplementary angle for the scattering angle &#x3b8;. Accordingly, the smoke detection part is further constituted in a thin-shaped light scattering smoke sensor which enables the setup of a scattering angle with no directivity in the smoke influx to the smoke detection chamber.

Light scattering type smoke sensor

A flame detection device for detecting a flame caused by a fire, including a light attenuation filter for attenuating 90% or greater of light with wavelengths in a visible to near-infrared band radiated from the flame. The flame detection device further includes an imager for photographing an image of the attenuated light incident thereon, and a processing section for deciding the flame from the image obtained by the imager.

Flame detection device

A fire detection device comprises a detection element to convert the infrared ray energy into the electric signal, a first extracting unit to extract the signal of a first prescribed frequency range including the flicker frequency of a fire from the output signal of the detection element, a second extracting unit to extract the signal of a second prescribed frequency range including no flicker frequency of a fire but including the frequency on the higher frequency side than that of the first prescribed frequency range from the output signal of the detection element, and a judging unit to judge a fire based on the output signal of the first extracting unit and the output signal of the second extracting unit. The fire detection device is capable of surely discriminating and detecting the flame from other infrared ray energy generation source. A band pass filter or the like need not be increased in number, and the increase in the product price can be prevented. In particular, the flame detection device is capable of rapidly judging a fire, and suitable for practical applications.
