A secondary battery includes an anode for a secondary battery, a cathode which absorbs and discharges lithium ions, and an electrolyte which is placed between the anode for the secondary battery and the cathode. The anode for the secondary battery includes an anode active material layer which absorbs and discharges lithium ions, the anode active material layer including a first layer including carbon as a chief ingredient, and a second layer including at least one first element having a theoretical capacity greater than a theoretical capacity of graphite, and at least one second element which has a theoretical capacity equal to or less than the theoretical capacity of graphite. The second layer includes particles, and the particles include the first element and the second element.

Anode for secondary battery and secondary battery using the same

Since a first layer (a carbon layer) whose chief ingredient is carbon and a second layer (Li absorbing layer) containing particles having a theoretical capacity greater than that of graphite are formed on anode collector, high capacity and high operation voltage can be realized. Since a element having a theoretical capacity equal to or less than that of graphite is added to the particles constituting this second layer, expansion and contraction of volume according to the charge and discharge are suppressed. This enables capacity deterioration to be suppressed even though cycles go on.

A film-sealed nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises: a battery element including a non-aqueous electrolyte; a film case having at least a sealant polymer resin film for sealing the battery element; at least a lead terminal extending from the battery element and projecting from the film case, and the lead terminal with a surface having a contact area in contact directly with the sealant polymer resin film, and at least the contact area of the surface of the lead terminal is coated with an anti-corrosion coating film, wherein the anti-corrosion coating film includes: (A) a polymer of structural units of a phenolic compound, and at least a part of the structural units includes a substituent which comprises an amino group or a substituted amino group; (B) a phosphate compound; and (C) a titanium fluorine compound.

Film-sealed non-aqueous electrolyte battery with improved surface-treated lead terminal

In a piezoelectric transformer, a piezoelectrically inactive region 11 is provided between a driving portion 22 and a power generating portion 31. The power generating portion 31 extends longitudinally of the piezoelectric body 1 and is provided with a pair of top and bottom electrodes 7T and 7B on its major surfaces. The driving portion 22 is provided with a side electrode 5 on a side surface perpendicular to the width direction. Other electrodes 50T and 50B are also provided so as to be parallel to the electrodes 7T and 7B. The power generating portion 31 is polarized in the width direction and the thickness direction of the piezoelectric body and the driving portion 22 is polarized in the width direction of the piezoelectric body 1. By regulating width of the piezoelectrically inactive region 11 provided between the electrode 50T (50B) of the driving portion 22 and the electrode 7T (7B) of the power generating portion 31, the transforming ratio can be regulated.
