A structure for assembling a vehicle interior lighting, comprises a lens, a socket, a cover fitted to the socket, a first regulation portion configured by one side of the fitted cover or the fitted socket that is located on a front side in the insertion direction and a part of the lens, the first regulation portion regulating forward movement of the cover or the socket in the insertion direction; and a second regulation portion configured by another side of the fitted cover or the fitted socket that is located on a rear side in the insertion direction and a part of the lens, the second regulation portion regulating backward movement of the cover or the socket in the insertion direction.

Structure for assembling vehicle interior lighting

A pair of terminal portions of a bus bar is composed of a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion extended along a sidewall of the base portion. Each of the first and second terminal portions has a spring portion for generating biasing force toward a direction of holding the base portion, and a contact portion provided on a tip of the spring portion. The contact portion of the first terminal portion abuts on a contact lead wire, and the contact portion of the second terminal portion abuts on the sidewall of the base portion, thereby the contact portions hold the base portion therebetween. In a natural condition that the bulb is not inserted and the spring portion is not elastically deformed, the pair of terminal portions is displaced from a center plane toward the one side corresponding to a projection size of the contact lead wire.

Bulb socket and lighting system

A bulb socket and a lighting system, which can reduce components and dimensions and improve a force for holding a bulb, are provided. A housing has an insertion hole including an opening for receiving a base portion of a bulb, and a plurality of projection portions projecting from a deep side wall of the insertion hole toward an opening side. The projection portions are opposed to each other so that the base portion is sandwiched therebetween. A distance between the projection portions is formed smaller than a cross-sectional dimension of the base portion. When the base portion is inserted into the insertion hole, the projection portions are elastically deformed away from each other, and contacts slidingly a surface of the base portion. The base portion is sandwiched by a biasing force of the elastically deformed projection portions in a biasing state, and thereby the bulb is held.

A locking structure includes a terminal fitting and a terminal containing portion that holds and contains the terminal fitting so that the terminal fitting is electrically connected to a connection counterpart in a condition that at least part of the connection counterpart is inserted in the terminal containing portion. A first lock projection which is elastically deformable and is provided on the terminal fitting is locked on a second lock projection which is provided on the terminal containing portion. The at least part of the connection counterpart inserted in the terminal containing portion restricts elastic deformation of the first lock projection in a direction in which the first lock projection is unlocked from the second lock projection.

Locking structure of terminal fitting and bulb socket

A pair of terminal portions of a bus bar (i.e. a terminal clamp) includes spring portions each of which is arranged to exert a pushing force in a direction of sandwiching a base portion of a bulb, and contact portions each provided at a tip portion of the spring portion. A housing (i.e. a socket body) includes regulation portions located on opposite side of the terminal portions and arranged to abut on the terminal portions from opposite side of the base portion to regulate elastic deformation amount of the spring portions to be within a predetermined value.

Bulb socket and lighting device

A board connecting terminal includes a contact which comes into contact with a mate side terminal, and a solder part soldered to a pad part formed in a circuit board and connected to the contact. The solder part includes a solder part main body soldered to the pad part, a first engaging piece extended from the solder part main body and a second engaging piece extended from the solder part main body. The solder part main body is soldered to the pad part under a state that the first engaging piece and the second engaging piece are engaged with the circuit board.
