A valve structure of a shock absorber includes a piston to which a first communication passage and a second communication passage are provided, and a load application member that applies an initial load to a first leaf valve. The initial load is applied to the first leaf valve within a range between the inside in the radial direction from a first seat part and the outside in the radial direction from an abutting part of the piston, the first seat part being positioned on the outside in the radial direction of the first communication passage.

Valve structure of shock absorber

A piston includes a disc formed to have an annular shape, a cylindrical skirt portion that projects from an outer peripheral portion of the disc on one end side in an axial direction of the disc, and a passage that is formed in the disc and that is opened on an inner side of the skirt portion. An inner peripheral surface of the skirt portion is a slope that increases its diameter toward a side opposite to the disc.

Shock absorber and piston

This invention obtains damping force in choke characteristics when piston speed is in low-speed region, and reduces damping force when piston speed is in medium-high-speed region. A damping valve for a shock absorber includes a piston partitioning an extension-side chamber from a pressure-side chamber, a returner laminated to pressure-side chamber side of piston, a flow passage penetrating from piston to returner and having entrance constantly communicating with expansion-side chamber, a leaf valve laminated to retainer and operably closing an exit of expansion-side flow passage, a first outer peripheral groove formed on outer periphery of piston rod. A passage T functioning as a choke is formed between first outer peripheral groove and retainer. One side of passage communicates with flow passage and other side thereof communicates with compression-side chamber.

Damping valve for shock absorber

A damping valve includes a valve disk, a retainer, an inner peripheral side flow passage configured to include a valve disk through hole formed in an inner peripheral side of the valve disk and a retainer through hole formed in the retainer and allowing communication between one and other chambers, an outer peripheral side flow passage formed in an outer peripheral side of the valve disk and allowing communication between the one and the other chambers, and a leaf valve in the form of an annular plate arranged on a side of the retainer opposite to the valve disk and configured to openably close the inner peripheral side flow passage by an outer peripheral part. A flow passage area of the retainer through hole is not smaller than that of the valve disk through hole.

A damping valve includes a piston with a one-side disk and an other-side disk, a port configured to include through holes, a piston rod, and a nut. A plurality of the through holes of the other-side disk are formed along between the inner peripheral seat surface and the outer peripheral seat surface. Elastic deforming portions are formed between the through holes of the other-side disk. A clearance is formed between the inner peripheral seat surface of the one-side disk and that of the other-side disk in a state where the nut is not tightened and the outer peripheral seat surface of the one-side disk and that of the other-side disk are in contact. The elastic deforming portions of the other-side disk are strained and the respective inner peripheral seat surfaces come into contact in a state where the nut is tightened.

A leaf valve structure according to this invention comprises an annular valve seat, and a leaf that is seated on the valve seat under a predetermined elastic supporting force against a pressure of a working fluid on an inner side of the valve seat. A recessed depression portion having an opening portion on both an inner periphery of the valve seat and a seating surface of the leaf is formed in the valve seat, thereby creating a site where the pressure of the working fluid on the inner side of the valve seat can act more easily on a seating surface between the valve seat and the leaf valve. Accordingly, an effect of a surface adsorption force applied to the leaf valve by the valve seat on a cracking pressure can be suppressed, and as a result, the leaf valve can be lifted under a stable cracking pressure.

The present invention provides a membrane electrode assembly that enhances the reliability, mechanical strength, and handling characteristics of a seal in a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell. The membrane electrode assembly of the present invention comprises a membrane-electrode structure having electrode layers and gas diffusion layers on both sides of a polymer electrolyte membrane, and a resin frame provided in such a manner as to fully enclose the outer periphery of the electrolyte membrane and to enclose at least portions of the outer peripheries of the gas diffusion layers, the resin frame being provided so as to enclose the electrolyte membrane side. The gas diffusion layer and electrode layer on one side are stacked on a surface of the electrolyte membrane so that a surface region of the electrolyte membrane is left exposed. The gas diffusion layer on the opposite side extends all around the outer periphery of the electrolyte membrane. The resin frame is attached fixedly to at least a portion to the surface region.

Disclosed is a fluororesin-coated polymer film for reinforcing a polymer electrolyte membrane, wherein the fluororesin-coated polymer film is fabricated by forming on at least one side of a polymer film a coating of a reaction product of (A) a fluorine-containing copolymer composed of a fluoroolefin, a cyclohexyl group-containing acrylic ester, and a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl ether, and (B) a crosslinking agent having two or more isocyanate groups. The polymer film according to the present invention not only exhibits sufficiently high initial adhesion strength, with respect to the polymer electrolyte membrane, but also retains thereafter high adhesion strength in actual operating environments.
