The present invention relates to a novel polypeptide having affinity for proteins partially including a CH1-CL domain forming a non-native three-dimensional structure and capable of being suitably used for detecting, immobilizing, or removing these proteins and relates to use of the polypeptide. Specifically, disclosed are a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence represented by any one of the following formulas 1 to 3: (1) P-Q-x-I-x-L-x-[IL]-[NT]-[YW] (SEQ ID NO: 1), (2) Y-D-P-E-T-G-T-W-P-Q-x-I-x-L-x-[IL]-[NT]-[YW] (SEQ ID NO: 4), and (3) P-N-S-G-G-G-G-S-Y-D-P-E-T-G-T-W-P-Q-x-I-x-L-x-[IL]-[NT]-[YW] (SEQ ID NO: 7) (wherein x represents an amino acid residue; and brackets represent any one of the amino acid residues within the brackets), and a method of using the polypeptide to detect, purify, or remove a protein partially including a CH1-CL domain forming a non-native three-dimensional structure.

Polypeptide exhibiting affinity to antibodies forming non-native three-dimensional structure

The present invention relates to a method for suppressing aggregation of polypeptide. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for suppressing, in a solution comprising an antibody or an Fc region-containing protein, formation of an aggregate derived from an antibody or an Fc region-containing protein having a non-native conformation, the method comprising: the steps of (i) binding an AF.2A1 polypeptide or an analog thereof with an aggregate derived from the antibody or Fc region-containing protein having a non-native conformation in the solution; and (ii) collecting the aggregate bound to the polypeptide or analog thereof from the solution.

Method for suppressing aggregation of polypeptide

Disclosed is a molecular library comprising a group of a plurality of molecules, wherein each member of the library is a polypeptide having a randomized sequence moiety and a microprotein moiety. The microprotein is a protein comprising an amino acid sequence of 30 or less amino acid residues having the ability to form a particular conformation by spontaneous folding in a solution and is, for example, chignolin comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1. Also, disclosed is a method for identifying a novel functional molecule using the library of the present invention.

Polypeptides which have binding activity to an Fc region of immunoglobulin G and can be favorably used in detecting, purifying, immobilizing or removing an antibody, immunoglobulin G or a protein containing an Fc region of immunoglobulin G, are described. Methods for detecting, purifying, immobilizing or removing an antibody, immunoglobulin G or a protein containing an Fc region of immunoglobulin G, by using the peptide, are also described.

Antibody-binding peptide

A modified protein of an extracellular domain of protein A, which has the reduced ability to bind to immunoglobulin in an acidic region, compared with the wild-type extracellular domain of protein A, without impairing a selective antibody-binding activity in a neutral region. On the basis of three-dimensional structure coordinate data on a complex of the extracellular domain of protein A bound with the Fc region of immunoglobulin G, the modified protein is obtained by the substitution of amino acid residues that are located within the range of 10 angstroms from the Fc region and have a 20% or more ratio of exposed surface area, by histidine residues. Preferably, the modified protein is obtained by the substitution of amino acid residues at sites identified from the analysis of sequences selected from a library constituted by the protein group, by histidine residues. These substitutions may be combined.

An engine-powered work tool includes: a shaft extending in a first direction; an engine at a rear end portion of the shaft; a fuel tank disposed below the engine in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and a stand fixed to the engine. The stand includes a fastening portion fixed to a front end portion of the engine, and a curved portion extending from the fastening portion and curving toward a rear end portion of the engine. A vibration drill unit capable of obtaining an intensive drilling force. The vibration drill unit includes a first ratchet, anon-rotatable second ratchet having a claw engageable with the claw of the first ratchet, and a main body frame for accommodating a motor, a spindle, the first ratchet and the second ratchet. The respective claws of the first ratchet and the second ratchet include the first inclined surfaces formed so as to be engaged in the rotation direction by rotations of the first ratchet and so as to be separated from each other, the second inclined surfaces having greater inclination in the reversed direction than the first inclined surfaces, top parts that link the upper parts of both inclined surfaces to each other, and flat parts that link the bottom parts of both inclined surfaces to each other.

Vibration drill unit

An impact drill for boring a workpiece includes a main frame, a motor housed in the main frame, a spindle movably supported by the main frame and rotatable by the motor and movable in its axial direction, a first ratchet positioned fixedly with respect to the spindle, a second ratchet positioned with respect to the first ratchet, a spring biasing the second ratchet toward the first ratchet. The spring has at least one of a spring constant and a biasing force which prevents the second ratchet and the spindle from abutting against the main frame at least one of when a force ranging from 15 to 25 kg is applied to the main frame for boring the workpiece and when the spindle is moved to a retracted position.

Impact drill

An outer peripheral surface of a cam has an apex disposed of distance from a rotational axis, a first region adjacent the apex opposite to the direction of rotation that increases in distance from the rotational axis during rotation, and a second region adjacent the apex in the rotational direction that decreases in distance from the rotational axis of the cam with the rotation thereof. The apex is disposed where the phase &#x3b8; thereof advances by 15 degrees and 55 degrees or less in the rotational direction from a position symmetrical to the rotational axis. The rate of change between the second region and the rotational axis is greater than the rate of change between the first region and the rotational axis. A retreat amount X when a saw blade reaches an uppermost point c from a foremost point is set to 0.8 mm.

Jigsaw

An impact drill includes a first ratchet together with a spindle and movable in an axial direction, and a second ratchet engageable with the first ratchet. The second ratchet can be moved in the axial direction, and rotated with a predetermined range in a rotational direction.

An impact drill minimizing transmission of vibration to a handle gripped by a user's hand. A spindle extends through a main frame and is movable in its axial direction and rotatable about its axis. A first ratchet is rotatable and axially movable together with the spindle. A second ratchet is axially movable but unrotatable. In an impact drilling mode, the first ratchet is brought into abutment with the second ratchet so that the spindle is reciprocally moved in the axial direction.

An impact drill includes a first ratchet rotating along with a spindle and movable in an axial direction, a second ratchet engaged with the first ratchet and movable in a axial direction but unrotatable, and a spring provided between the second ratchet and a partial member of a housing. An amount of movement of the spindle in the axial direction is regulated, so that the pressing force is too excessive, the restoring force of the spring urging the second ratchet is controlled to maintain a state of generating a set stroke force.

In a battery-driven tool, comprising a motor equipped with a fan and air windows arranged on the casing where the motor is positioned and for sending cooling air generated by rotation of the fan to outside, the object of the present invention is to send hydrogen gas generated by overdischarge to outside so that hydrogen gas is not accumulated in the battery chamber, and to exclude undesirable effect on the designing of the battery-driven tool. To attain the object, the motor chamber to accommodate the motor equipped with the fan is communicated with the battery chamber where the battery is accommodated.
