An in-vehicle wireless system, capable of operating at least in a copy mode and a transmission mode, comprises: at least one receiving unit receiving a wireless signal transmitted from a remote control transmitter and demodulates a control code signal; and at least one transmitting unit transmitting wireless signals at a plurality of carrier frequencies; and a control unit controlling so as to obtain a control code from the control code signal and store it in the copy mode, and so as to perform transmitting the modulated wireless signals at all carrier frequencies unique to a plurality of the garage door opening-closing mechanisms or the like. The receiving unit may include a detection circuit connected to a reception antenna directly.

In-vehicle wireless system

An occupant detection system includes a detection electrode provided in a vehicle seat, a phase difference measuring unit, a direct current measuring unit, and a detecting unit that detects an occupant. The phase difference measuring unit supplies a reference signal comprising a sinusoidal wave to the detection electrode via a resistive element, detects the potential of the detection electrode as an electrode signal, and measures a phase lag time of the electrode signal relative to the reference signal. The direct current measuring unit applies a steady DC voltage to the detection electrode via a resistive element, detects the potential of the detection electrode, and measures time it takes from start of application of the DC voltage to the time when the detection electrode reaches a given potential, as a charge time. The detecting unit detects an occupant based on the phase lag time and the charge time.

Hybrid occupant detection system

A communication circuit is provided which transmits an information bit string from a transmission unit to a reception unit. The transmission unit includes a first modulation circuit that modulates a first carrier wave by a start bit to generate a first frequency signal, a second modulation circuit that modulates a second carrier wave by the information bit string to generate a second frequency signal, and a transmission circuit that transmits the first and second frequency signals from a transmitting antenna. The reception unit includes a reception circuit that receives a signal from the transmission unit, a first detector circuit that detects a signal of the first carrier wave to demodulate the start bit, a second detector circuit that detects a signal of the second carrier wave to demodulate the information bit string, and a detection circuit that is synchronized by the start bit and reads the information bit string.

Communication circuit and vehicle communication apparatus using the same

The invention is directed to a control circuit for a vehicle air conditioning system which includes a compressor and a plurality of vents. A plurality of mode switches are provided for shifting the vents in accordance with a plurality of control modes including a defroster mode. When one of the mode switches is turned on, the rest of them are turned off. Each mode switch has a first switching section and a second switching section. A third switching section is formed by contacts which are provided at the 'off' side of one of the first and second switching sections in the rest of the mode switches, and which are connected in series. With the first, second and third switching sections operated, are connected or disconnected a defroster circuit, a compressor circuit, a first indicator circuit for indicating a condition of the compressor being activated, and a second indicator circuit for indicating a defroster mode. For example, the first switching section is provided for connecting or disconnecting the first indicator circuit and the second indicator circuit. The second switching section is provided for connecting or disconnecting the compressor circuit. And, the third switching section is provided for connecting or disconnecting the defroster circuit.
